It was a hot summer night after the annual Oxford St Giles fair and we were searching for a place that opens till late and found this cozy little pizzeria where there were big words "sourdough pizza" at the frontage which attracted our attention. Our server that night was Giuseppe who was very cheerful and enthusiastically chatting with us while taking our order, making us felt really welcomed. It seems they have a really good team there at Franco Manca as when we walked in, there was an off duty gentleman who took no time to lead us into the restaurant to find us a table even though he had already just gotten off duty, of which we highly appreciate. Food wise, it was our first time trying out sourdough pizza at Franco Manca and it turned out really full of flavour and tasty. Presentation wise, it was exactly like the ones we had in Italy, the style which we love most. Next time we are back in UK, we wont hesitate to go back for more at any Franco Manca near us.

The pizzas and sourdough bases are of high quality and the starters were also great. The menu is not overcomplicated but it is well done. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and the staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant’s location is also convenient and easy to find. Overall, I found it to be a great place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends or family.

A busy Tuesday evening, first time visiting this particular Franco manca. Although busy we were seated within 5 minutes and served quickly as we had a show to get to in the theatre down the road. I enjoyed the special of the day pizza and my cousin decided on a Margherita. Staff were attentive and the overall cost was very reasonable for freshly made sour dough pizzas. Would recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and fancy a delicious pizza.
