The mussels they have here are absolutely amazing. The biggest and best I’ve ever had. The pie also had the best pastry I’ve ever had.
Fantastic and quirky pub. I dropped in on a cold Tuesday morning and they had a roasting fire going and a good turn out. The pub is packed with character - even the toilets look like they came from a Victorian mansion! They have pigmy goats in the large beer garden and plenty of comfy seats, great s
Under new ownership. Soon to be called The Wolvercote. The lady behind the bar was very friendly. Clearly the place is in a state of flux/transition but I wish them very well as it's a nice place in a great spot and has lots of potential.
What a great pub. Very dog friendly with a big beer garden. Very trendy feel to the whole place and right next to a huge meadow next to the river Thames that you can walk your dog in. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was happy and fun. Great place to bring children as there is a good

Great food & service. Went there with my cycling group yesterday & we were well looked after. Highly recommended!
Nice and cozy pub. The fish I had was phenomenal. They also have a backyard with goats and chickens!

We had a nice meal here. There is a nice atmosphere inside with all different antique items placed around the pub. The food itself was well presented. The Caesar Salad was particularly large and the Guinea Fowel was tasty. Service was quick and we didn't have to wait long for our food at all. The st
Great pub with top notch food and beer. New couple have only been there a short while but have totally transformed the place. See you again soon.
