Lovely pub! Went a couple times during my trip to Oxford. Nice and welcoming staff, good service and great food and cider! The fish and chips is crispy and the scotch eggs in particular are just perfect!

Had our work Christmas do here and it was so well accommodated, Jack and his team worked super hard to get everything in and out efficiently and the room we hired was so lovely!

The St Aldates Tavern is certainly worth a visit, especially for its real ale selection. It is also a very welcoming establishment where one can enjoy their time. While it can get busy, and additional bar staff might be beneficial during peak hours, the current staff are very diligent in their service.
