Rooftop Restaurant Ashmolean - Oxford - Photo album

Museum Cafe’s are always a good choice, Ashmolean did not disappoint. Modern open kitchen had the Curried Cauliflower with mint dollops and glass of wine. Bright sunny day for the terrace, rooftop view. Excellent service.
I was delighted with this place, a wonderful view, delicious food and excellent service. Kevin made an effort to get us a table as fast as possible as they were busy, Charles was very kind when taking the order and attentive to allergies, after ordering we had to wait a bit for the starters, after t
Beautiful place to spend an afternoon in Oxford. Food is always wonderful (albeit on the dearer side). Menu changes frequently, incorporating local produce (such as the Oxford blue cheese I had today!). The only reason I knocked a star off is that their profile says they're open until 6pm, and I've
My choice for lunch is the Handmade Wild-Farmed Black Truffle & Ricotta Tortelloni with butternut squash purée, caramelized shallot, roasted butternut, Parmesan, sage crisp, and truffle oil, priced at £19.50. Hats off to the chef! It was the best tortelloni I've ever had! I wish I could have more…
Lovely rooftop restaurant at top of Ashmoleum Museum. You can access this restaurant and the basement cafe that does a good variety of teas, coffees, lattes (with milk substitutes) and cakes without a Museum ticket. The restaurant is popular with a mostly older crowd. The menu is small but food qu
A great place for a treat. Lovely food & friendly staff. Fantastic views across the rooftops.
Lovely place for lunch in Oxford. The room is light and airy with views across the rooftops of Oxford. The food is ideal for lunch. There are a variety of interesting options at reasonable prices. Service was prompt and attentive when we were there - and we weren't rushed away at the end of our mea
We stopped here for afternoon tea whilst visiting Oxford. I didn't realise you needed to book, but the restaurant manager was very accommodating. Lovely food however I was a little disappointed with the cake selection included compared to other afternoon teas I've had. Service was brilliant. Well wo
Food good enough, staff delightful and attentive, location spectacular, on the top floor of the Ashmolean Museum, looking out over the rooftops of Oxford. Too early in the year for the open air roof terrace when I was there, but I will be back for that experience.
Beautiful location and lovely atmosphere. We chose the Chicken Supreme which was delicious, however, the portion size for the price is very small. Desserts were much better value for money. Staff were very nice and service was swift.
Simply outstanding. Definitely one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. When your mind is blown by a side dish of roasted potatoes, you know it's special. Easily the best food for money you'll get anywhere, probably in the world. Don't miss it.
Lovely rooftop setting. Extremely relaxing. You can choose to sit on the outdoor terrace (with umbrellas) or the very pleasant interior space. Professional, speedy, efficient
