We visited Oxford last night and I saw at least three staff members handing out sandwiches to the homeless. I’m guessing the use by dates were yesterday so they were saving them from ending up in the bin. What a fabulous thing to do. Pret was closed so it looked like the staff were doing it in their own time too.

This Pret is in an old half timbered building and has lots of angles and nooks so is cozy. There is the usual range of Pret food. You help yourself as you walk in and then go to the tills to pay and order hot drinks. Throughout is quick; quality is good and you can get sone healthy food. The felafel salad with rice snd hummus is a favourite of mine. We were seated at the top near the toilet and everyone struggled with the code. Turns out you need to unlock it by turning the lock OPPOSITE to the way you normally would. They should be attentive to making sure the tables are kept clean during rush hour at lunch.

Bought the coffee subscription a month ago and since then this has been my fav constant place! I worked from the cafe upstairs once and it was very peaceful in the afternoon. Good to sit upstairs if you want to work or study. Also the coffee subscription has made it difficult to get coffee in prime time. Most of the time it’s crowded and the staff is in so hurry they serve almost cold beverages even if you ask for a hot one! So make sure you visit in calm time. But overall great place, service and products!

What they sell is fine. The building is an interesting one. Some nice features within it. The cleanliness of the tables could be better. The person I visited the store with actually cleaned the table her self with water and tissues. First time I saw someone do that hahaha. It was quite busy when I visited both times but we were alright finding seating. There wasn't a delay

Incredibly cozy, great atmosphere for working on your laptop or studying, also a nice place for small group meetings. A great alternative to the library or if you’re just looking for a calm place to read a book Try to go in off peak hours: it can be incredibly busy 10am-3pm on weekdays as a lot of students go there so it’s sometimes practically impossible to find a free table (especially during morning rush hour and lunchtime). It also gets super noisy so not great to focus. But outside of those times it’s super chill, the photos below were taken noon time on a Saturday and there were loads of free seats (also it was peaceful and quiet) In my experience they have the biggest food range of all the Pret’s in Oxford and normally are really well-stocked. The staff there is also undoubtedly the nicest and friendliest staff ever - they’ll chat with you and seem to genuinely care, and also make strong effort to get the order right. Baked goods are impeccable and if you get them right after they’re out of the oven it’s a divine experience. Some downsides is that they don’t do smoothies, frappes, or milkshakes (for that you’d have to go to the Pret further down on Cornmarket or the one in Westgate), but they do do iced coffees. There is also sometimes variability in the coffee quality from extremely good to very subpar but I think this mostly happens when a new barista is in training. Also like I said during peak times it can get incredibly busy but the staff is always really efficient so they keep waiting times really low. Overall my favourite Pret for indoors seating, food choices, and staff but the coffee is better in the smaller Pret further down on Cornmarket Street.

One of the most iconic buildings in oxford. That you can see from the inside .Really friendly staff I love the matcha with coconut rice milk warm that they always prepare for me.. And the wrap 🌯 of halloumi cheese and falafel best vegetarian . Or salmon and egg breakfast half baguette delicious..

We literally ate at this restaurant EVERYDAY. They are EVERYWHERE! They have amazing fresh food. You CANNOT beat the prices. They have something for everyone. Sandwiches, salads, soups, fruit, fresh squeezed drinks, smoothies, chocolate, coffee, etc. My favorite was a small cup that had a layer of honey, yogurt and topped with granola. #LocalGuides

Went during Christmas festive season where they have a deal with drink and mince pies. Great hostess, but when asked about the pies, she said they ran out of it 😟, request to look in the back or ask the manager, got the mince pies👍! There were lots of students, some of them really noisy! And some were literally looking at the noisy kids when the volume was a little on the higher side! Building itself- Beautiful old structure! Nicely done from inside retaining the old characteristics.. wonky and rustic!

I can't help but like this chain. Fresh, yummy food at a fairly reasonable price and an attempt at social enterprise as well. This shop happened to be in the oldest building in Oxford. Breakfast sorted.

Good coffee, nice staff, very good range of food, healthy, fresh dishes. Sitting area could have been sligthly cleaner and more comfortable. Recommendation for the food/drinks.

I'm not sure what to make of Pret. Needs more choice of cold iced drinks all a bit bitter for me. No where to recycle plastic cups. Very crowded after ordering waiting for drinks
