The Longwall Beefeater

Visited for a 'walk in' breakfast on a Sunday around 9am and found it incredibly busy, in a popular way. The staff worked really well under pressure and seemed to have good leadership. Plenty of awkward customers trying to make a fuss over nothing, which I thought was dealt admirably by the staff. Will definitely keep this one on my list when near Oxford.

Stop overnight at The Premier Inn, Cowley, when speedway is on. We always eat at the Longwall Beefeater, which is on the same site; always buy a Meal Deal because it's such great value for money. Food is consistently good. The only recent change to menu is mini brownie with coffee instead of mini torte. Would be nice to see a new menu with different dishes for a change.

I enjoyed a wonderful value for money meal recently. Although the steak wasn't as ordered it was good quality and came with the offer of bottomless chips. It was so good to see Sean and the team again from whom I always receive the best service and welcome. One of my favourite places to go for an excellent breakfast too. Always well worth the visit. Thanks Guys!👍🏿 24 July 2023 Unfortunately the venue has severly suffered as a result of a lack of staff. It has badly effected the Bar and dining service. This is such a shame as it's a really lovely venue that runs exceptionally well when in full and functioning mode. Although moral has hit an all time low, I say well done to the staff who are trying their best in such dreadful circumstances. It's about time The Whitbread company address this ongoing situation by respecting their hard working staff members and honouring the customers with the normally good experience we've come to expect and love.

Had a table booked for 7pm… seated right away & met with a smile. Lewis was our waiter.. he was great, friendly and helpful. Our drinks came promptly followed quickly by our food. Food including desert was cooked well. Good Value for Money in a busy restaurant. I would return & hope the next Beefeater we eat at offers the same standard 👍🏻

A very nice place a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Good menu (came out earlier 2019) and reasonably priced. Easy to find on the roundabout just off the Oxford ring road. Sat nav will take you close as always, but you cannot miss the sign. Or the sign for the Premier Inn as they share the same site. Well worth a visit and yes they are advertising the Christmas menu already!
