This is only my second ever Five Guys burger and they are indeed, a thing of beauty! I went for a cheeseburger with bacon in almost every possible extra. The burger itself tastes, so home-made and the patties, bacon, onions and mushrooms combined is tastebud Nirvana!
Next time, I’m definitely going to say no tomato as you do not need sogginess in there!
Very expensive, but definitely a treat rather than just fast food !
Delicious burger always a good choice. Super friendly staff, quick service, great topping options. Fries were hot and fresh.

Great burgers, great hotdogs and awesome milkshakes! They are way too generous with the fries!! Love that. I would only prefer the fries to be more crispy, but that's just a personal preference.
Also, I find a bit wasteful the amount of napkins they give.
We've had quite a few 5 Guys burgers including New York...never been disappointed including today's 😊. Lovely set of guys. Fab burgers, fries, banana milkshake and unlimited refill. Alarm went off shortly after getting our food and we were wondering 'are we getting kicked out?'..but thankfully they managed to sort out the issue and we settled down to enjoy our 🍔. Carol & Michael
Great atmosphere, staff are amazing. I left my car keys on the table at a very busy time. When I realised 10 minutes later, came back and explained. The worker there was super helpful. He went above and beyond and checked the cameras. Luckily, Someone had handed it in.
The head chef here was running a really great crew. Credit to him and the staff. Fantastic to see line cooks fall in behind a top leader. Freshly cooked patties make such a difference.
1st time in 5 Guys, had a hotdog and fries, it was great, enjoyed it. Liked the way you can customize your meal to your taste.
The burgers are great, probably the best I've had (in a fast-food chain restaurant).
It's weird that they DO have orders numbers, but no display, so the employees are forced to say the numbers out loud as the orders are finalized, and this creates some chaos ar rush ours...
I was amazed by the portion size! I asked for a hamburger and regular fries and got two burgers in a bun with a bucket of chips! And was charged almost £15 for it! Really home cooked feel to the food but would have preferred a much smaller portion for less money.
Some people say this was not the best experience at the Oxford Five Guys. I have to say, for me, this was a pretty awesome experience. The staff were friendly and professional and the food was up to its normal high quality standard.
Yes, Five Guys is not the cheapest burger place but its by far the best and you get what you pay for. Give me a Five Guys over MD' BK and all the rest put together. Looking forward to my next visit.

OK five guys branch, it is not that large so there is limited seating, on one side there are a number of booth style tables and chairs. On the other side there is a long breakfast bar table and high chairs, and normal tables. Staff are friendly and proficient, and it's get busy especially with tourists. There are a few toilets including one for disabled and baby changing. I don't remember seeing any high chairs but every branch I've been to had them. Useful addition to the fast food options in Oxford.
Only thing I can order is fries as a vegan, but they were delicious. They are very filling and nice. The worker who served me was kind also which is a bonus.
More expensive than BK or McDonald's but the quality of the burger deserves that price. The spicy fries were really good and the portions were big enough. The large fries can easily be shared by 2 or 3 people.
The person at the till was very helpful and made sure, I understand how the order process works.
Upmarket fast food. Will cost you more than McDonald's, burger king etc. But it provides a much better standard of quality. It's would be a longer wait but that's because burgers are made fresh and cooked to order.
