Probably one of the best place if not the best, in Oxford area where you can sit down and have a really nice fish and chips. Ordered the haddock fish and it was prepared on the spot and served nice and hot! Do try the grilled chicken. Really nice also!
I tried it after reading the positive reviews. As a foreigner, fish and chips is not my staple food. However, the food served by Atlantic was fresh and yummy. I ordered Cod and chips. The cod was fresh and delicious. The chips were perfect, not oily and nicely salted with vinegar.
I went back a few days later and ordered the Cod Eggs. It was almost perfect. I enjoyed it.
Is this a place that I would continue going to during my stay in Oxford? Yeah, why not! The food is almost heavenly.
Definitely one of the best fish & chips in Oxford. Great add on is opportunity to sit & eat inside, in cosy nice, spacious area. Menu is for take away and dine in. Everything fresh and prepared in front of You. Lovely, friendly service. Highly recommended! :)

I ordered the Haddock and squid rings without chips and the portions turned out to be very generous. I had it in the restaurant, so it was freshly made, piping hot and super crispy! Decent for 13 pounds.
I think it would be pretty soggy if I had taken away. Glad I had it there. Taste was decent, though nothing to shout about. How wrong can you go with fish and chips?
Without doubt, the best Haddock and Chips that I have ever had. We got there just after 8pm when the restaurant section was closed but they were kind enough to let us order anyway and we were so glad they did. After growing up and living most of my life in Leeds, Haddock and Chips WAS Fish and Chips and this place was simply outstanding.
