Dropped in for a quick meal after the theatre and just ordered a selection of starters. Utterly delicious and far more authentic than any other Chinese I have been to. The lady who owns/runs the restaurant was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Probably the most tasty Chinese restaurant in Oxford City Centre.
My Sichuan Restaurant has been rebranded to Sichuan Grand. Rumour says the owner is changed to the same one as the Sichuan Grand in London and the menu is the same.
We came in as a big group for a friend’s graduation party. Ordered quite a lot of dishes - probably 10-15. All of them taste very nice!
The restaurant serves Sichuan cuisine, which is known for spicy food. So be prepared for some hot dishes. They also have some specialty in noodles. Definitely try their chicken sesame noodles!
The service is a little on the hectic side, but they were really busy. I probably suggest to focus more on the taste than the service.

Servers were welcoming and super kind. The food was very delicious, especially the mapo tofu. Food portions were quite generous. One downside was that a bowl of rice needed to be ordered separately.

Went to Sichuan Grand Oxford tonight, loved the hand ribbed noodles! Ate the veggie version - veggies were al dente, very delicious and the sauce is amazing! Highly recommend!

Excellent place for hotpot, we didn't order from the other menus but all of the food looked fantastic.
There are three heat levels available for the hotpot of which we got normal, which is the middle option and of a pretty standard level of spice for Sichuanese hotpot. We also opted for two stock types as seen in the photo.
Portion sizes for the hotpot are very good, everything was fresh and very tasty. The crispy pork and Dan Dan noodles were also very good.
The service was also very good, the waiting staff are very attentive. The interior of the restaurant is also very nice and comfortable with plenty of tables.
I'd recommend this place if you like hotpot and Sichuanese food, they also offer handmade noodles which looked fantastic.
