Excellent Home Made food opposed to usual home cooked that seems to be almost every where these days! Obviously this takes longer but time to appreciate & digest each course, and the flavours !!! Fantastic outdoor dining area is great plus this time of year too. Last time I were here twas very good, just after Covid reopening, but now The Fish is absolutely Brilliant !!!

Popped in to the Fish for a relaxing lunch for the first time and what a pleasant surprise. The food was flawless and tasty. I had fish and chips. The service was excellent and friendly. We were served by Ilona who was very attentive and warm. The beer garden is a very relaxing place to be. Highly recommended.

We met friends here for a drink and really enjoyed it. The gardens are neat and the staff were incredibly good. They poured our drinks promptly, gave us a warning that the pub would soon close and just very friendly. Clean tables, clean loos and a very healthy selection on tap. We didn't have any food so I can't help there. I will go back when I'm nearby

Great place to stop for lunch. Super service, lovely garden and not far from Abingdon and indeed Oxford. Lovely choices on menu and food chosen well and cooked exquisitely. And just look at the champagne choice, you are in good hands. Just look at such an eclectic choice. I had the baked Camenbert, but next time will be the pigeon. Returned 1 month later, never disappointing. Super scallops

The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We dined outside under the pergola which gave us a little shelter from the sun. They pampered us to our needs and the food was excellent, we all had the Sea Bass stuffed with crab and soft cheese, shrimps, pink pepper corns on a bed of vegetables and a separate bowl filled with lemon flavoured rice. We all chose different desserts, but I had the Creme Brulle and it was divine very creamy, smooth and the flavour of vanilla coming through with each mouthful. I could have eaten it at least twice over.

Just had a snack & coffee... But the duck baguette was perfect - crispy, perfectly baked baguette with tasty shredded duck. Mmm... Nice atmosphere, helpful staff, good parking (although with pebbles - not sure if wheelchair-friendly?). My latte was - well, it's on the photo, you decide. :) The only objection - it was a bit cold today, just after opening. But still 5* from me.
