Competent sports bar / brew pub with several taps and lots of TVs. Burgers were fine, although of the 2 ordered medium well, one was correct and one was much more medium. The natural cut fries were nothing special, even ordered gaslight style, I'd try another side next time. Looks like it could be a fun place to watch a Miami game.

I visited Oxford, the Miami Campus, and the old Nike Missile location while on a trip "home" from Oklahoma.. I asked a friend where I should go for a beer that was "off campus," and Gaslight was his recommendation.. The Pros.. The service was top-notch.. My server, Elaina, was training a young man as she made her rounds. She was very polite, knowledgeable about the menu as it related to my questions, and was attentive during my entire visit.. She had at least two other tables and seemed to manage them with equal care and attentiveness.. Gaslight offers Peroni, an Italian Lager.. Both bottles I received were wonderfully cold and refreshing.. The Atomic BBQ wing sauce.. It's just enough heat 🔥 and just enough sweet in a perfect balance.. A great sauce for wings.. A military discount.. I didn't get the itemized receipt back, but imagine it was 10% off my food item, which isn't a deal breaker for me, personally, but a nice offering.. The Single Con.. The traditional wings were a bit disappointing.. They were what I would expect to pull from a bag of Tyson-brand breaded chicken at home, and rather than being tossed in the Atomic BBQ sauce, it was merely drizzled on them.. That said, they had decent flavor for food service quality, run of the mill traditional, bone-in wings.. I'm a bit of a wing snob.. I try them nearly everywhere.. Some venues hit Grand Slams with them, while others don't.. All in all, Gaslight is a pleasant venue, has a bar with ample flat screen televisions for sports, and a menu with a wide variety of items to include pizzas, burgers, salads, and other entrees.. I wish them continued success in a very crowded food service market there in Oxford..

We were in town for an event at Miami University, and stopped at Gaslight Brewhouse for what was a yummy lunch. My wife had the Fiesta Taco salad. She enjoyed it and the bite I had was great. I had the Black & Bleu salad. I heard about many other foods there, such as their wings, but this salad sounded good to me. It had Cajun seasoned steak, bleu cheese crumbles, bacon, and avocado. I passed on the tomatoes, because sometimes they are iffy for me at restaurants because of their variety and ripeness, but they likely would have been really good on this salad. Adding to the bleu was the bleu cheese dressing I opted for. I usually don't get steak on salads but this time it was an excellent choice. Wish I would have snapped a pic before I polished it off.

Really enjoyed the menu with plenty of interesting burgers, sandwiches, and pizza. Friend, who is a burger connoisseur, said it was the best burger he’s had out. Pulled pork and Mac and cheese sandwich hit the spot. Nice large open area with plenty of seating and TVs. Heck even most of the booths had their own private tv. Love the semi outdoor area with overhead garage doors. If I had any complaints they are just minor. Place was almost empty for a Sunday lunch and had to ask for a refill and wait for straws. If I’m nitpicking that close, you know I am struggling to find complaints.

I didn’t get many pictures. We have lived in Oxford for about 4 years, and we finally got to try this place! We had a large group (11), we surprisingly got a table pretty quickly! The drink pictured was a holiday cocktail. It was not good, it had coconut and lime margarita mix. We loved the mini corndogs for an appetizer with the BEST HONEY MUSTARD DIPPING SAUCE EVER!! 😂👏 Most of us ordered burgers and fries, I ordered the rigatoni bayou chicken pasta (delicious). I felt like a few things we tried to order, they didn’t have. The mini candy bar poke cake was AWFUL. It tasted expired. Overall though, the service and our dinner was great. I am so grateful we have something like this in our small town!
