Frank And Marlee's

The burgers here are my favorite! The half priced burgers on Wednesdays and Saturdays are also a great deal! I don't care for their fries, so I usually substitute an appetizer in for my side of fries, and it just costs an extra dollar. The fried pickles and pepper jack cheese balls are also great! I didn't like the catfish bites at all, though. Our friends love the wings here but I thought the seasoning/sauce was too light.

I've frequented Frank & Marlee's several times a month for a while now, but last night was my last time. We patiently waited for a table...at least 30 minutes. And not because it was busy...people were just hanging around. Due to the long wait, we took a seat at the bar and ordered drinks and looked at the menu. Once we sat down, we had to ask for a waitress to take our order after an additional 30 minutes. She informed us we needed to close our bar tab. We did so....and waited another 30 minutes before having to ask again. At this point its already 8:30 or so. She finally comes back and takes our order around 8:50. Well, she then disappears...smoke break. Realizing we would receive no further service, we finally decided that we'd handle our own drinks; I had to ask the bar for a pitcher of water. The waitress comes back in around 9:20. We wait a few more minutes...no food. We ask about our food only to be told, "the kitchen is kind of backed up." We were the only group of people still waiting on food at that point. Other tables around us that sat down after we did had already finished eating and were waiting on their checks at this point...our appetizer hadn't even been served. After asking about our food for a second time, our appetizer was finally served...9:45. The rest of our food came out just minutes later. Finally. We proceeded to eat...only breaking to ask the bar for another pitcher of water since our waitress was "busy" (at this point, there were only two tables left seated.) we had a surprise visit from our waitress around 10:00 or so...only for her to ask if she could close our table out since the kitchen was closed. This really just pushed me over the edge; how dare you rush me after we waited all night. In any case, we obliged, finished our food, and left. On a slightly positive note: the food was okay. The fries were inedible, but everything else was decent. Too bad the staff provided the worst dining experience of my life. Update: Changed from 1 star to 3 after receiving a response from the owner.
