We dined in for lunch, we were seated immediately. The atmosphere upstairs was a bit odd, in the sense of noise, it felt quiet yet it was loud from other guest seated. We ordered our food and waited no time at all for it to arrive. Our daughter had the salad, my hubby had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, had the chicken salad sandwich, both sandwiches with the fries. We all enjoyed the food, it was tasty, and portioned well. Looking over the menu, there were other options we couldn't decide between, so there is definitely an option for everyone. They were having a special on Bloody Mary's so I ordered one spicy, and it was delicious and refreshing. Served with a pickle, which I loved! The prices were reasonable, and so were the kids meals, which also had a mixed varietyof options.

On vacation we were out for a drive and found ourselves in Oxford, PA. Looking for a non-chain type place to eat we found the Sawmill Grill. The reviews looked good so we figured we'd give it a try. They had a good crowd for a Friday lunch but we were seated quickly in the upstairs section. A little too noisy for my wife. There was a loud group on one side and a very young child that couldn't get him mother's attention on the other side. Turning off her hearing aids resolved that issue. Service was quick and the food came out hot from the kitchen. I opted for the Bruhlwich. A Buffalo chicken breast between two waffles drizzled with syrup and powdered sugar. An interesting flavor combination that seemed to work. With each bite you could taste the waffle, syrup and hot sauce. My only issue was the dish was so heat hot that I had to let it sit to cool down a bit and the waffles got soggy with the syrup. It didn't effect the flavor at all and I ate every bite. It just made it a little messy cutting it. My wife had Grandma G's Homemade Chicken Salad Sandwich. Nice, solid chunks of chicken with good flavor. Both dishes came with their soon-to-be famous Sidewinder Fries. I'd venture to say that each side of fries was more potato than you'd get with a large baked potato. We ended up taking most of the fries home. If we ever find ourselves in Oxford again we know where to eat. There are other items on the menu that I want to try.

The food was good for the price. Good selection of beer and wine. There is a children's menu. The menu is interesting with items like fried Cauliflower and Sidewinder fries(I highly recommend the appetizer that's loaded. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The all female serving staff took the time to sing Happy Birthday to my 7 year old. I had a great first visit and will be sure to visit again in the future.

Our first time here, so my wife got the pulled pork sandwich with fries, she loved it! I got the Texas Chili with cornbread on the side. It too, was very good. We've been wanting to try this place for a while, and the opportunity presented itself today. Portions are good, and we were very satisfied with the fast ,friendly service, and the food. I'd say we'll be back again, next chance we get. Stop in, check it out. Nice atmosphere in the afternoon. Not sure what the night crowd is like.

It was our first time eating here... We got a nice surprise, for the price we got a lot of food, it was hot and very tasty. Our server was attentive and friendly, a little shy we never got her name. Our only complaint was that it was a hot day so we wanted to eat inside to be comfortable and the AC wasn't doing it's job. Please fire the unit and get a new one.. LoL
Don't change a thing and will definitely be back.

We came here for a Sunday lunch. 6 adults, 5 kids. The waitress was very patient and did an excellent job. Kiddos loved the pretzel bites. We all enjoyed our meals everything from sandwiches to the land and sea. Their sidewinder fries were out of this world. There is metered parking out front or a garage across to the left behind the mexican store. Both free on Sunday. We will definitely return!

I had been wanting to try the Sawmill for years! We went there because the Oxford Diner was closed for maintenance servicing.
The service was great. The waitress had my drink refill before I even had to ask!
I had the fish & chips. The fish was a bit greasy, the fries were delicious. My daughter had a dish with chicken over mashed potatoes, the potatoes were cold. She ate it anyway because the waitress was so nice she didn't want to complain. My husband had a steak sandwich and said it was delicious.
Will we go again? Probably not.
