Oxbow Beer Garden

We hosted our small wedding (ceremony and reception) at the Oxbow Beer Garden in Oxford in August 2021. Rebecca was so easy to work with and very flexible and the process was just so smooth and low-stress despite being during a pandemic (and we live out of state so only visited once during the process, the rest of our planning was done over phone/email) . Of course, the beer was excellent and the pizza is just so great. We were all also so pleasantly surprised by the pita and hummus that was part of our appetizers. I would highly recommend visiting just to enjoy a beer on the beautiful property or planning an outdoor event with Rebecca and her team! We have already been back since the wedding and hope to get up to the property to snowshoe over the winter!

On a beautiful summer night, we stopped by this little slice of heaven in Oxford Maine. Good beers, cool relaxed vibe, delicious wood fired oven pizzas. Can't ask more from a night out than this. Friendly staff helped make the evening pleasant. I was particularly taken with the Farmhouse Pale Ale Saison made with American yeasts. Beer and pizza lovers need to stop by for a visit.

We celebrated our wedding in August 2021 at Oxbow Beer Garden in Oxford, ME with about 110 people. Oxbow - both the space and the staff - was amazing. The space was beautiful and their staff decorated it with seasonal flowers. (We hired a separate florist for a few smaller things.) During our event, Oxbow supplied all of the food. During cocktail hour we had charcuterie, veggies, and their fantastic pizza. (This is coming from a New Yorker who has tried many types of pizza over 15 years of research.) Our dinner was served buffet-style with chicken/fish/veggie options and salads, all of which were delicious. Of course, they also included their amazing beer, along with wines, and some mixed drinks. The staff was absolutely amazing. Much to our dismay, a hurricane decided to make an appearance on our wedding day (we know we know, rain on your wedding day is a blessing!). The Oxbow staff quickly adjusted. They changed the plan for where they thought food should be set up, donned ponchos and other raingear, and with positive spirits got our guests food in both a timely and remarkably dry fashion (calling tables up one-by-one)! They did all of this with smiles and friendliness At the end of the evening, they came out to dance with us and we couldn't have been happier. Everything ran extremely smoothly. In weddings, something always goes wrong but none of the things that stressed us out that day had ANYTHING to do with Oxbow. When the bride showed up, they even led her to a little bridal suite, saved the cake for us to take home, and did things like help coordinate the tent and wedding canopy set up and set up a guest book. Much credit goes to Rebecca, the event coordinator, and Birch, one of the co-owners. Not only will we continue to come to Oxbow on the regular for our pizza and beer needs but we are so thrilled to be able to remember it as the place we got married. We give Oxbow our highest recommendation for throwing an event. And even if you aren’t throwing an event, we highly recommend coming to Oxbow’s Beer Garden for pizza and beer.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! We were looking for a local spot for takeout and Oxbow Beer Garden was recommended. I ordered two pizzas to go and took my 2yo with me to pick them up. When we got there, he immediately picked up the delicious aroma and said he wanted to eat. I grabbed the pizzas, a negroni for me, and sat down with him to eat what I though would be a single slice. Little man got in a zone, vibed to the live DJ performance - which was killer - and plowed through three slices (HALF!) of the marinara pizza. As soon as we got back to our camp, he went ahead and had a fourth slice. The most he'll eat back home is 2 slices! We also got the cheesy potato pizza with bacon and - oh my! That was the right call. The pizza was 100% legit but the bacon/lardon was out of this world!! We're only here for the weekend, but we will find an excuse to go back!! If you're in the area - definitely drop by! If you're from the area - you are lucky to have such an awesome place in your backyard!! Simply wow! 🤤🤤😍😍

I had my wedding and reception here and it was as close to perfect as you could get! Not only were the food and beverages delicious, the staff were AMAZING! They took care of everything and were so wonderful to work with. Wedding aside, this place is awesome. Great atmosphere to hang out, spend time with friends, and enjoy some delicious food and drink. I live out of state but the next time I'm in Maine, I will definitely be stopping at Oxbow again!

Oxbow Beer Garden in Oxford was the perfect location to host our wedding rehearsal dinner this past summer! After the pandemic started in spring 2020, we realized we would have to postpone our wedding plans for that summer and regroup. Once we decided to hold out-door only events to celebrate our wedding in the summer of 2021, the first place we called was Oxbow. Ever since they opened, Oxbow has been one of our favorite spots to spend time – the food, the libations, and the vibe are great! The staff were so helpful and made everything easy. Our guests were so excited to be able to celebrate all-together at such a fun venue and not worry about the risks of being indoors. A shout out to Rebecca for being so awesome! She is amazing!
