My new go-to place for Samosas The advertising for vegan options attracted me to this place. Brand new and very clean and modern. The staff constantly tidying up and keeping the place clean. Very popular place, and not too expensive.

From the moment I walked in to Chaiwala ☕️ 🍵 🫖 I felt like i was at home 🏠 The interior decor was on point and I was very impressed by it. The staff were very professional all were very friendly and smiled too. The inside of Chaiwala was immaculately clean and tidy. Didn't have to wait very long for the food either. Everything was packed to the high standards that Chaiwala delivers to. Food was very tasty and the spices were on point too. Hats off to the Chaiwala team. Keep the good work up. A place for family and friends to eat at. I will definitely be a regular here.
Halal food, must visit!
I’m not a local of Oxford but if I ever come to Oxford again I’ll come here for a breakfast. One of the most flavourful English breakfasts I’ve ever had from a restaurant. 🥳
The mango falooda (drink) I was skeptical on trying it but it was delicious and if you’re a sweet tooth like me you’ll love this.
Although I don’t exclusively eat halal, I do appreciate the fact it is and I’m glad everyone had the opportunity to enjoy this lovely food.
The atmosphere was ideal for the morning, quiet but not too quiet. I did visit on a Sunday so that may have an impact on the atmosphere as a whole.
Note: The English Breakfast comes with an omelette which you can slightly customise. I added onions,cheese and egg. 👏
The chai latte and teas are quite nice! Food was okay too.
We quite liked the butter chicken roll - didn't taste greasy and was flavourful.
The Mogo chips was okay.
Samosas were also okay.
The waitress Sonja is very stressed as she's by herself at the front, dealing with takeaways as well.
There's another member of staff in the background presumably cooking. I think they need one more person really.
We had a nice time and will definitely be back again. Thanks Sonja :)
My new favourite place in Oxford. So incredibly well priced. I can’t believe I went to other cafes they seem so mediocre now. This cafe doesn’t do your usual boring stuff it does really interesting food and drinks. The food here is so interesting, tasty and for what you pay so well made. My favourite drink has to be the unbelievable chai drink with cinnamon.

After being quite surprised about some of the bad reviews, I thought I share my experience.
I was happy to hear from a friend about this place and even happier to see their menu with very reasonable prices, especially if you compare it to anywhere near by. I ordered a chai, halwa puri and pav bhaji and it tasted so good! It was all well spiced besides the chili paneer which I took for takeaway, which needed some salt, but I think it’s so easy to fix. Service was also really nice and I will definitely come again!

Amazing South Asian street food at amazing prices! This is our friends' goto place for chai, chat, and work. Best gulab jaman in all of Oxford. The rose flavoured ice cream is also amazing. The only thing missing is internet!
