Our first visit to a Nepalese restaurant.
I didn't really know what to order, in the end it was basically down to guess work.
I must say my wife and I were both extremely pleased with our choices and looking forward to our next visit when we can experiment further with Nepalese cuisine .

Came here after a long hike and was pleasantly surprised that there was a Sunday buffet available. We had the lamb momo as a starter and then tried all the dishes from the buffet. All were really tasty although for personal taste I would have liked them to be a bit spicier. The service was professional and polite. Highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Excellent meal, staff were very friendly, responsive and gave great guidance on dishes. Well priced with all dishes we ordered packed with flavours and cooked well. Big surprise was the momo dumplings (pork) I really liked them and this would be my recommendation as a starters. Cant wait to go back

Excellent food and friendly staff. We had the Prawn Sinka and the Tareko Squid to start and both were really good. We then had the Rara Chicken and the Mayalu Lamb. Both excellent!

Have visited his restaurant lots of times for evening meals but this time we tried the Sunday buffet for lunch. Great food but service can sometimes be a little slow, does not really affect you when having the buffet thou. The momo is a must have !

This is one of the best Asian restaurants I know, if you like curry it is a must visit. They seem to have masses of choice if you are into veggie options. The mutton curry is really excellent. Each dish has its own distinct flavour and most of them are not the usual curry choices. I’ve never had a bad meal here

Fantastic menu, a wide range of delicious meat, fish and vegetable dishes. I found the food very well priced for such high quality. The service was friendly and efficient, staff were polite and attentive. We were celebrating my mum's birthday which I didn't mention on the booking, but they noticed that we had given her gifts and brought out a birthday dessert and sang her happy birthday. Very touched and impressed! I've been before and will certainly be returning again soon. Thanks Ghurka Kitchen!

Truly delicious, perfectly prepared, and nicely presented Nepalese food. Such a treat. Every dish was freshly made and served with great gentleness. The spicing is subtle, and not hot - more reminiscent of Moroccan than Indian or Chinese. It's worth slowing down and paying attention to. Their prices are very good for the quality and accuracy of the cooking. The outside of the restaurant needs a coat of paint. But don't let that deter you! We had an impromptu celebration meal there yesterday - really pushed the boat out! - and were just delighted.

Delicious food, enough choices for vegetarians and vegans. The lamb was soft and tender, melt in your mouth. Great presentation, portions were generous, reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend.

I like spicy, my wife doesn't. We both loved the Gurkha Kitchen and we have been back for takeaway since our visit.
