Friendly staff and plenty of choice. It was very clean and the decor was fresh and bright. Of course the proof of the pudding with any chippy is what are the chips like? Well here they do chips in traditional dripping which adds an interesting flavour.
Not my cup of tea to be honest but they do do chips in veg oil if you prefer apparently. My Mrs had the haddock and said it was very good.

since moving to padiham last month i have been in here several times. the salt and pepper chips are so lovely and tasty. on wednesday this week i got my usual s+p chips and thought i'd try the fish. it was the best haddock i've had in a long time. far better then the chip shop around the corner, lol. definately recommend. english meals only. but great quality
