The Block Burgers And Steaks

First time visiting and the food was absolutely spot on. Unfortunately we found it a bit chilly inside and oddly the bottle of beer on the warm side. The waitresses could have been a bit more attentive. It wasn't particularly busy so they weren't run of they're feet. I'm sure no business especially in the current climate can afford to be missing out on extra revenue no matter how small. We'll definitely call again because like i say the food was faultless. Sometimes it's the small details that make a good place into a great place.

We ate here for the first time tonight but will definitely be returning. We chose the build your own burger and it was absolutely delicious. I went for the blue cheese fries with mine and they were fantastic, almost a meal in itself. Really friendly staff and great service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is great! It's a deceptively spacious interior with contemporary styling. Service was great - friendly and efficient. The food was amazing. It was fresh, home cooked, tasty and different. It was excellently presented and the portions were really generous. My only negative is that there was only one veggie main option, so if you're not a meat eater and don't like burgers, this isn't for you. Overall though, a fab dining experience, thank you!

Decided to go here last Minute for our tea, not booked, walk ins, seated immediately not too busy at 6pm on Thurs, ordered Parma Violet Ginx2, Burgers/Fries...I love the fact you can build your own burgers- choose your roll, choose your meat, choose salad, sauces, extra toppings! We ordered Southern Fried Chicken fillets, full salad, x2 sauces, we also had option of either seasoned/cajun fries...we went cajun & the burgers on arrival were huge x2 fillets loved the way it was put together, & the fries were cooked to perfection & best cajun seasoned, all in all it was good value & worth the money...£12.95 - burger & fries, £2.50 - Glass of Gin....Thank You, Great Experience, & we're definitely coming here again! 😋

I can honestly aay that this place is a gem! The food was absolutely too notch. My friend and I had hummus and warm pitta. Two kinds of hummus, one was red and spicy, both delicious. The bread was warm with a drizzle of oil. Also calamari rings which were so soft with a delicious spice in the batter. She had the spicy beef Asian style with salad which she adored and I had THE BEST and most gorgeous rib eye steak with tenderstem broccoli and Aspen fries.peppercorn sauce too. It really was tender, seasoned and beautiful. The attention to detail on each dish was just great to experience. So.mamy places don't season things or just chuck things on for decoration. This place has a wonderful chef and kitchen staff. Thanks for a gastronomic delight. I will be back. Oh and all that with 3 drinks as well was £56. Bargain.

Thank you to all the staff at the Block in Padiham Our Usual haunt for breakfast today was closed ,so we looked for another ,my other half suggested we try a new place named "The Block" in Padiham not very far from us. It wasn't hard to find and as we entered ,we were greeted with a welcoming genuine smile from a very pleasant young lady ,her manner was warm, inviting and professional ,I felt we were off to a very good start. Shown to our table we were presented with a breakfast menu ,asked for drinks and given cutlery. Still the Inner grin that had formed earlier from the first impression stayed ,the aire of the place is one of comfort ,welcoming and warm ,the open pass and lamps give the customer the assurance that food will be good, we were not let down ,chef plated in view ,hot nicely cooked ,seasoned food on our plates which were disinfected before serving and hot to touch ,we didn't wait very long either ,although it must be said I will happily wait for good food if it takes a while to cook. I will happily return to "The Block" for breakfast and hope to get in there one evening to sample the other menu. A thoroughly pleasant experience ,quality ingredients ,warm welcoming attitude and atmosphere from the start. Thank you all at "The Block" once again
