Visited the Bistro to celebrate a friends birthday. We booked our table and informed them we would have our dogs with us, this was no problem. On arrival we received a warm welcome and were shown to the bar area, which was perfect, a small room just to ourselves which led to a very warm intimate dinner. The food was absolutely amazing from the starters through to the dessert’s. The portions were a good size for you to appreciate the food, I had Wood Pigeon, for the first time, and it was very nice. Theservice we received was second to none. 4 starters, mains and desserts copious drinks and a very reasonable bill. I would definitely visit this place again and would recommend this to everybody visiting Padstow.

Have been here 4 times in the last three years never fails to disappoint. The matured rump steak is as good as any fillet steak I have ever tasted. Great atmoshphere highly recommend.

Came here today for my 50th birthday treat. Ordered a lot of tasty food!. Really delicious and the service was spot on, attentive without being too over the top. Liv served us and she was so lovely, remembering which cutlery we needed at every course. The recommendations were fab. Thank you once again.

My 5 star rating was for the excellent food. We ordered from the set menu, which was exceptional value. Starter- Mackerel Salad Main - 4oz Steak Frites Dessert - Sticky Toffee Pudding But the service was a little messy. With 3 different waiting staff servicing our table, there seemed to be a lack of communication between them. Forgetting menus, our wine going to the wrong table, asking for the bill 3 or 4 times. And asking the next table of customers if they were read to order dessert when they had just arrived and sat down 🤔 So just 2 stars for service!

This was on my bucket list to dine in one of Rick Stein restaurants for years. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and the food was superb. Myself and my friend dined in the dog friendly lounge as I had my dog with me. I had the scallops and lobster for main, both cooked perfectly. The service was a little lax, I had to leave my table twice to find someone. As I am in the business and are front of house I found it disappointing that there was nobody checking tables. However it did not impact our visit. I would definitely return.

Absolutely amazing and wonderful experience today, Sunday 3rd September. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were made to feel very special. We had the lobster, lemon sole and the monkfish. All arrived at the same time, super fresh and hot. We all had a pudding, you can’t fault the sticky toffee pudding. Can’t wait to return. Olivia and Jaz did an amazing job today.

Lunch at St Petroc's Bistro, Padstow was lovely. No other way to describe it. The atmosphere is lively, verging on noisy, but still very pleasant. The dining room is very nice, plus there are tables outside at the front and the secret garden around the back. We sat inside and ordered from the lunch menu. My Moules Marinières and monkfish were to die for! My wife had a tuna steak, which was not quite as pink as expected, but still most enjoyable. The service was excellent. All the staff were very efficient and super friendly. We'll definitely be back for a repeat visit!

There is so much fish in the Padstein empire I went for a steak and chips! The steak was excellent and expertly cooked, medium rare. My wife had Tuna and happily cleaned her plate. I would come back. i had a large glass of Rick's Bordeaux a good choice.

Visited the restaurant when we were down in Cornwall in Sept. The meal was very good and service was excellent. It's a relatively expensive meal though.

A Rick Stein restaurant. The staff were friendly and courteous. The food was expensive but worth it. I had a seared tuna steak, which was excellent.
