Tried this take away for the first time, food was great!! It is officially are go too now as we found much better than other takeaways. Portions are huge, the salt and pepper wings were great and not over loaded in hard batter and the salt and pepper chicken was cooked perfect!! Had the mixed platter and it was great and the price is spot on too. The delivery time was good too! Would recommend this take away and we will definitely be using for all our future chinese food night ins when we are here!

We’re in holiday at a local caravan park, they delivered and the food was absolutely beautiful! Service was fantastic as well the lady phoned when she was just 5 minutes away.

There are two Chinese take aways right next to each other. I want into Alan's. This is obviously a family run restaurant as there kids were there and the lady at the till had a baby strapped to her chest. The don't like taking card payments and ask if you would mind using the cash machine outside. The food did not take too long and the quality was very good and I am fussy with my Chinese food. Nice thick sauces and tender meat. Well recommended 👌

Recently moved back to the area and Alan's is easily one of the the best takeaways in Paignton. Absolutely adore their chicken in blackbean sauce.

Absolutely fabulous meal. Staying in Brixham and was concerned about the chinese takeaways in the town as reviews were not the best. Founf Alans in Godrington that delivered to us which was over 10 minutes away. We had a meal for 2 to feed 2 adults and a child. Big portions that gave us a meal for 1 of us the next day. Meat quality was excellent and large King Prawns. I am always sceptical eating Chinese away from your regular local takeaway at home. I have to admit, this was as good as at home. One I would definitely recommend to anyone that stays local. Would order from here again without a shadow of a doubt

I live in Surrey.
I haven't been back here for a year but rave about this place to anyone I know who comes down here.
It is the only place I have found that does
Crispy Sweet & Sour Chicken and it is my favourite thing even if the Doctor says I shouldn't.
My favourite Chinese meal in the country, and I do 3000 miles a week.

The food was delicious and delivered piping hot, I didn't have any Soy Sauce at home so I called them and asked if they sold bottles of it, unfortunately they didn't but when I opened the food bag they had kindly put a container in the bag with plenty of Soy Sauce in it at no extra charge, I was extremely happy that they had done that and I called them and thanked them for doing that for me. It is the extra touches and kindness towards their customers that make us order our Chinese from them always.
