There is a reason this place has consistent 5 star reviews all complimenting the same things - because it is true and the owner and staff obviously care about maintaining standards. The menu is not overly complicated, basics with a flare of skill. Prices are incredibly respectable considering the food is obviously prepared freshly and ingredients are decent - in fact, if I ran the place I'd increase prices and RARELY think that. Proper, decent, honest food. If you are a local in Paignton, give it a try and if you are visiting - then it is worth leaving the busier end of town, walking a couple of minutes and enjoying the food.

Walked past for and looked in the window.. shop owner next door told me it was very good food.. not covered in grease or fat and the chef is excellent! So I went back in and order spring rolls to take out from the specials menu and they were the best spring rolls I’ve had! Freshly cooked and very yummy! If I’m ever back, I’ll be going there for a meal for definite

The best breakfast I've had in town for a very long time. Super fresh items, and best of all, included both black and white pudding. Yum!

Really impressed with this little cafe, so rare to find a menu that isn’t just full of carb choices, had a lovely steak & eggs breakfast, very reasonable prices & friendly owners! Highly recommended
