Cardosi's Restaurant

Had lunch with friends a few days ago and cannot rate Cardosis highly enough for value for money and service. 2 course lunch for £7.95 is outstanding value, they should be applauded for keeping prices so affordable in current times when so many places are putting on hefty increases . The low cost does not come at the price of low quality. There were 4 of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. I paid a £4.95 supplement for the Pollo Pancetta, it was worth every penny and possibly the nicest chicken I have ever had. Had lemon cheesecake for dessert which was delicious. Even a notoriously fussy pal had no complaints. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The place was busy but not over run , it had a good vibe. I will definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cardosis to anyone.

Had a lovely family meal celebrating my grandson Daniels tenth birthday. Staff were really good with his birthday cake , singing happy birthday to him . The food was lovely I had the soup for starters and the sea bass for the main. Food was delicious, everyone in our party had nothing but praise for this well priced family friendly restaurant.

We popped in without a booking on a Sunday night after a long drive and were met with such fantastic service. Our waiter Blair was soo friendly, made some great recommendations and made us laugh a lot! The frito misto was a great starter, huge fresh bits of fresh and a delicious garlic and parsley sauce. We also ordered the asparagus with pancetta which was so nicely done with another great sauce. The fresh pasta dishes were phenomenal! Between our table we ordered the slow cooked beef and tuscan sausage ragu which had so much tender meat and a delicious rich sauce, the rigatoni sinatra (crumbled italian sausages with loads of roasted peppers and chilli in a tomato sauce) and the fettuccine pollo piccante which was my favourite. This was spicy chicken in a creamy parmesan sauce with a right kick of chilli! For a complete accidental find we had such a great meal and would definitely come back if we were travelling down to Glasgow from the Highlands again!

The food was excellent, I had a monkfish special which was really nice. My wife had a gluten free pizza which was excellent when compared to some gluten free options in Italian restaurants The staff were extremely attentive and were always ensuring that we weren't waiting for anything. The drinks were reasonably priced and the house Merlot was very nice. I'd thoroughly recommend Cardosis and look forward to going back

First time visiting here and was not disappointed. The food was great with good sized portions, the service was quick and the staff were extremely pleasant, and the atmosphere was lovely. Nice and quiet and just generally nice. They also have a good selection of vegan options which my partner was happy with. Would definitely recommend!

Nice early evening meal. Went to old favourite in Paisley. Given early evening menu which is set price for 2/3 course. Food arrives quickly, is hot, seasoned correctly and as described. Meats cooked perfectly, generous portions although salad undressed. Drinks are varied and wine menu has nice classical Italian varieties. House wines (by glass) are really good and priced well. Staff friendly and patient with kids. Surroundings well presented and clean and peak in open kitchen showed a very clean and organised area. Will be back as always
