Japan Street Food

Had a great experience at the Japan Street Food restaurant. The service was efficient and courteous, especially from our waitress Alicia, who was particularly cheerful and attentive. The menu was varied and catered for vegetarians and vegans. I thought it was good value for money and will definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

I was stopping down the road at the Glynhill Hotel for work and fancied some sushi. Ordered online for collection. It was super quick and ready as soon as I arrived. The food was excellent - some of the best sushi I've had. The menu is very diverse it was hard to know what to choose. I also got a freebie thrown in which was appreciated. Yummy yummy

Love the chicken katsu curry, wish the curry sauce portion was a bit bigger as do like to drown my chicken and the rice. Curry sauce is very tasty The spicy sauce also adds a nice kick too Also love the box that the chicken and rice comes in. Saves dirtying a plate and is very durable Friend would have preferred katsu curry sauce separate with korroke instead of drizzled on , fries and chicken tempura was enjoyed Temaki also quite nice but noticed soy sauce sachet not in date, didn’t use. Otherwise all was very much enjoyed. Pumpkin katsu bento box also recommended too

Japan Street Food makes the best bento box meals ever! These are the perfect option for someone who doesn’t necessarily want to have fish/ seafood but still wants to enjoy Japanese cuisine. I have tried the Teriyaki chicken and Chicken katsu curry bento box options, but also tried some veggie versions of their foods. The japanese steamed rice side has the best texture and flavour i have ever tried, in fact I am still desperately trying to find any other restaurant who would serve such great rice! The boxes also come with chicken sushi, which is the best tasting chicken sushi i have tried thus far, where most places don’t even serve this as an option. The teriyaki sauce is sweet and sticky and the perfect amount of thick, allowing it to coat the chicken really nicely. The katsu curry sauce has a lovely curry flavour and comes with delicious crispy chicken. I have eaten food from Japan Street Food many many times while living in Paisley, and since they offer delivery it was always a convenient and quick experience. The rare one time there was something missing in the order, the customer support was great and the staff was nice and responsive and very helpful with the situation. On a separate occasion they were quick to reply to my questions on Facebook and I had a pleasant experience communicating with them. I have since moved out of Paisley but make sure I come visit solely for the purpose of eating at Japan Street Food.

Small and cozy restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Staff made us feel very welcome and were so attentive which made for a delightful experience. The food is absolutely amazing, 10/10 and reasonably priced! We ordered veggie ramen with gluten free noodles and added tofu, spicy tuna roll, veggie sushi platter and a pot of gluten free teriyaki sauce. There was so much ramen left over and our waiter offered to box it up so we had plenty to take home too! I don’t have a single complaint about my experience here.
