Thanks for making our Hen night great fun, some places are over priced to book an area but hamishes gave us it for free ! the food was good, staff attentive and the DJ made sure we all had a great time at karaoke and a good boogie to any tunes we requested ! Would highly recommend for a party/ birthday celebrations / hen nights etc 👍🏻

Celebrated my Mum and Dads Diamond Anniversary here on Friday night (4th Aug), with some of the family. They are both spritely and fit for their age and they wanted a venue where they could have a meal a few drinks and maybe dance the rest of the night away. The food , whilst not gourmet, was tasty and traditional and there was a good choice to pick from, it will also appeal to those on a budget, it certainly won't break the bank. There was also a good selection of beers, lagers, wines and spirits to keep the various conversations around the table alive with many tales from their 60yrs together. Hammishes offers free entertainment at weekends ranging from an in-house DJ playing a wide variety of music and throwing in karaoke, to local talented bands offering many different styles to suit all tastes. Friday night we spent with DJ Chris and his broad selection of tunes. He made sure all the singers got their songs and the dancers didn't want to sit down. The stars of the evening were the 'auld yins' Betty and Jimmy who, despite their advancing years hogged the dance floor and put all us 'youngsters' to shame. I would just like to thank all the staff at Hammishes from the bar staff, the waiters , the chefs and their kitchen staff for their care and attention throughout the evening , turning our special night into a happy and memorable one.

Great service from the guy who was our waiter. Was just in for a quick lunch with my mum and we were seated right away and asked if we would like any drinks while reading menu, lots to choose from at reasonable prices, portion sizes are on the larger size which is great as I could take some home for dinner as it was delicious. Lovely atmosphere but was on the colder side but this could be due to being at a window seat in the winter, just a wee bit chilly but not really worth complaining about as not much staff can do. Didn't see anyone other that the guy serving but he was attentive and gave great service! Definitely be back soon

Good food, reasonable prices, on last visit the service was very poor. We waited a long time for our food ,kids were with us and got very restless. Two of our friends ordered 2 cokes which they obviously forgot about, I had to go to one of the waitress's direct to remind her. Apart from the service I enjoyed the food.

Really good local food. Come here often with whole family, who all love it. It pretty much always has a 2 for 1 on main meals which makes it more affordable. The staff are always polite and happy

Good meal as always. Staff lovely. But let down by nasty coffee. No coffee taste and yucky..both cappucino my sis had and my black coffee. I got to try a little espresso it tasted fine..when replacements came slight improvement but i wouldnt recommend it.

Always a great atmosphere at Hamish's Hoose, with friendly staff who want you to enjoy being there. Food ( had lunch today) was so fresh, delicious and well presented. Unbelievable value for money!

I came across this place by accident really and thought it looked nice from the outside, having skipped lunch but it being too early for dinner we decided on a snack attack approach to food. Staff were genuinely lovely and appeared to enjoy their jobs and were keen to accommodate our random meal choices. Lovely grub!! The pub/ restaurant looked as if there had been some renewal and redecor, however ; there was a repair needed in the ceiling where there had obviously been an issue and area taken down which didn’t look very appealing. Pub is accessible to all . Children are able to be in there before 8pm supervised by an adult. Good value for money.

the food is enticing, tasty and just subliminal; presentation and smell are impressive never mind the eating! great value, impressive staff, amazing food and fantastic character. Best gastro pub in Paisley.
