Pepe's

Only good thing was the food was fresh, women serving looked as though she couldnt be bothered to be here, not very welcoming. Part of the wrap had been torn off and the chicken put on and then the ripped part slapped on top- wish I'd taken a picture of how it looked but I was so hungry, nothing like the pictures which I except some discrepancy but not what I received. I visited before and that's why I came back for the food, the service isn't the best on previous visit but thought I'd come again, regrets.

Food is outstanding but it's never ready when I arrive to collect, despite being told by the App \ Just Eat that it is, I've never had an order that's any less than 10 minutes late. The atmosphere has been unpleasant on a number of visits due to junkies wandering in off the street, mumbling incoherently and harassing other patrons, perhaps consider security for the safety of your staff \ customers? The staff are pleasant, though I'm always told to leave a 'good review' on just eat whenever I collect - perhaps I will one day when my order's ready on time and the management proactively remove beggars and junkies rather than ignoring them and hoping they go away.

Hadn’t tried this branch of Pepe’s but in general I am a fan of the chain. I’d recommend pre-ordering as everything is cooked fresh to order and after ordering at the counter I had a fairly lengthy wait for my food. It’s also not as cheap as it used to be but is now fairly established as one of the best chicken shops around. Personally I much prefer it to its Portuguese restaurant competitor. Go to order is the rice box which is crazy value for the portion size. Add the garlic dip to give a little moisture and zing. Temperatures of sauce are quite fierce so a conservative mild is plenty hot for me. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. Consistently good food

I tried the chicken n rice meal and it was great I really enjoyed. I Tried the extra hot with garlic mayo ..I may suggest some other mayo with them instead of garlic mayo. The food is heavy for a single person as it's come with a pretty good quantity. The second time I tried their limited edition wrap and it was also pretty good not so bad...but for me the rice n meal comes top 🍻
