We went for a meal here when visiting the area. Very good pub food, huge portions. Lovely staff and good service. It's definitely worth a visit. Can't comment on the rooms as we did not stay there, and I can't really comment on the location as we were driven there by friends and it was dark, but the whole area is stunning in daylight!

Visited whilst on holiday at Whitemead Forest Park nearby. Excellent range of beers, wines, lagers and soft drinks. Lovely meal out with extended family. Mid range cost. Not currently open on Tuesdays (as of Aug'23). Great atmosphere. Recommended 👍 🤠

Large group went for Sunday dinner and it was gorgeous. Hot day and being sat in the conservatory part out the back was a little sweaty! Staff were welcoming and helpful, lovely place and food was hot and delicious. My only little gripe is the roast potatoes, they aren't roasts which was disappointing.

Cracking place for a pint and a roast. Lovely pub, a lot bigger than it looks with a great pint of Otter ale on tap. The Sunday roast was extra good, and the cuts of turkey were utterly tremendous. Not often is turkey this moist and succulent. All the staff were wonderful, and the whole place was well kept and clean as a whistle. Good show!

Good Sunday lunchtime meal here. Good sized portions well cooked and reasonable value. Expect 2 course meal £25-28 a head with a soft drink. We will return

Stayed near the Whitemead Park End site for a couple days and researched online the most local pub. This seemed to be the closest and was only a 6 minute walk (felt like 3 mins). Indoor decor was lovely and open. We both ordered a Sunday roast and got the pork option. Sometimes they have the option to choose “meat of the day” as the meat. The roasts were only £15 each and the pork option has the additional crackling to eat. Food was presented lonely and tasted great. The drinks were quite cheap as well compared to other pubs. Drink were quite cheap too as well! The staff were very polite as well and made sure services was quick ! 😊

Came here for the last meal of our holiday and was not surprised to have amazing service, with lovely kind staff and an incredible environment much like the other places we have visited here, as this area is lovely and so are the locals. The food here was very high quality and the service was relatively fast, the staff were friendly and talkative and overall this led to a very memorable experience and a great note to end our holiday on. Would highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

Didn’t stay at the Inn but had food here two nights and both times it was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful surroundings and lovely helpful staff and it’s Dog friendly, couldn’t recommend highly enough! Thank you 🙏

Didn't stay here not sure if you can but came here for food and drink and the food is lovely especially the burgers. Service was very good too. Definitely recommend this place. Very nice pub restaurant aswell with seating outside to the side front and back set in a lovely area.
