We visited the Boathouse for a Guinness and a Cider after walking the dog. We didn't have food this time, but have in the past and it's always been very good. Book a table if you come for lunch at the weekend, as it can get very busy. If it's nice/warm there are plenty of tables outside giving a great view of the Dee Estuary and North Wales coast.

Went mid week afternoon. Not too busy so we were fortunate to get a table overlooking the Dee. Always busy at lunchtime.
We haven't been here for a while but the food was as good as usual. They offer a lunch menu as well as the main. The lunch one didn't give a great choice but what we ordered was good. The main menu looked very good.

Really impressed. Excellent service as was the food. Brought my wife, mother-in-law and sister-in-law (from Singapore) here. They are fussy about what they eat, but lived it.

We had a beautiful fish pie for lunch at about 2pm and as we were leaving just after 3pm, there were people still turning up for a meal!! Lovely views from most tables. Service was just lacking a little, and table was a tad bit dirty.

Came for a belated birthday meal , absolutely loved it. Had the Trio of Fish which was a fabulous dish olives and peppers to start and ice cream and cookie for dessert and enjoyed everything. The girl who took our orders was very patient and came back when we were ready . Very smiley and also the young man who served us . We asked about the way the chef had done the feta cheese and he came back to tell us how it was done .

Food was amazing, every dish we had was cooked and presented perfectly. Staff were really good only thing that would have made the visit a 5* would have been if the staff were a little more attentive. A check back throughout the starters & main meals would have made the visit perfect.
The beautiful scenery was stunning and the added detail of providing binoculars to see the birds was fantastic.
