My friend and I stayed on Saturday 27 April and what a lovely place this is. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and the rooms were lovely and extremely comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant, being booked in at very short notice even though they were very busy. We both had steak which
Dropped in for lunch a day ago. Recommended by a local. Warm, friendly greeting. The place is spotless. Delicious lunch, well judged portion. Not too big, just the right quantity. Extremely fairly priced. Will definitely return.
Stopped for lunch when passing through Pateley Bridge. Wonderful Yorkshire hospitality, all staff friendly, cheerful and polite. Fish & chips tasty and filling, reasonable price. Thoroughly recommend.
Across the courtyard from our holiday cottage , we had a few drinks. The staff were very welcoming, and the locals in the bar were very pleasant. It's a really nice atmosphere.
Went here twice during our few days stopping locally. Nice local ale, lovely food and a warm welcome from the ladies who were working there. Definitely recommended.
Fabulous Sunday roast with ample roast beef and wonderful cauliflower cheese! The crumble was delicious too!
I canโ€™t recommend this place enough. Me and my partner came for a quick lunch here, not knowing the area. The young brunette waitress, was amazing very kind and attentive running the restaurant. The food is the best Iโ€™ve ever had. A good steak pie with a gravy, large portions. Chef needs a pay rise
We came here for our dinner whilst on holiday. The service was excellent. There was only one member of staff working in the busy restaurant area when we were there and she was doing a wonderful job under pressure! The food was amazing! Great portions sizes for adults and kids. Would definitely go ba
Had lunch here, as it scored high on Google maps and I would definitely recommend. Nice little pub, which is larger inside than it looks. I like the split bar which creates a public bar and lounge/restaurant seating. Staff were great/really friendly and the food/drink was served quickly. Good selec
We had a lovely lunch here today. Good choice of dishes. We chose from the specials menu . The food was delicious and well presented . The fruit crumble and custard was really good! The waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend a visit.
Friendly staff, good beer, excellent food at inexpensive prices and comfortable bars. What more do you want?
Very quaint pub with friendly staff and great ale selection. Sadly let down by average food - although the chips are fantastic
We stayed in an apartment in the village but this is a great pub with fantastic food. The steak pie is fantastic, packed with more meat than you can imagine. Others had the Moroccan lamb and the homemade burger. All were lovely. The staff were fab as well ๐Ÿ˜€
If your in the area I would highly recommend the food here . Lovely friendly staff, service very quick if not a bit too quick between courses. Food portion size is not for the faint hearted, probably the best lasagne I've ever had ๐Ÿ˜‹
Great pub meal and very friendly service. The menu on the website didn't look very exciting but the specials board had all sorts of more unusual dishes which was a nice surprise. We ordered the venison loin which was perfectly cooked and came with an absolute mountain of veg, and the classic burger
