My friend and I stayed on Saturday 27 April and what a lovely place this is. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and the rooms were lovely and extremely comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant, being booked in at very short notice even though they were very busy. We both had steak which was delicious and perfectly cooked. It had a lovely mix of local people and tourists and is obviously very popular. What a great find we will be back. Thank you for a lovely stay, it just wasn't long enough.

Across the courtyard from our holiday cottage , we had a few drinks. The staff were very welcoming, and the locals in the bar were very pleasant. It's a really nice atmosphere.

Stopped for lunch when passing through Pateley Bridge. Wonderful Yorkshire hospitality, all staff friendly, cheerful and polite. Fish & chips tasty and filling, reasonable price. Thoroughly recommend.

Went here twice during our few days stopping locally. Nice local ale, lovely food and a warm welcome from the ladies who were working there. Definitely recommended.

Dropped in for lunch a day ago. Recommended by a local. Warm, friendly greeting. The place is spotless. Delicious lunch, well judged portion. Not too big, just the right quantity. Extremely fairly priced. Will definitely return.

Stopped for breakfast.very good value.friendly welcome.lovely and clean and lots of interesting things to look at.walls decorated with an artists work.set in lovely little village.

If your in the area I would highly recommend the food here . Lovely friendly staff,service very quick if not a bit too quick between courses.
Food portion size is not for the faint hearted,probably the best lasagne I've ever had 😋
