Best hot chocolate I've ever had. The gentleman behind the counter really knew his stuff and spoke so passionately about his craft. We sampled a number of different chocolate buttons and then had our hot chocolates made from our favourites. An absolute gem of a shop. So glad we stumbled across it and will be going back for sure.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting Patley and it was a great decision to stop and have a drink. The choice of different chocolates hot and cold was amazing and the 2 young ladies were extremely knowledgeable about all the different chocolates and regions they came from. will definitely be going back next time we are there 👍 would give 6 stars for customer service

We stumbled upon the Pateley Bridge shop by accident and we were immediately drawn in by the aesthetic compared to the other drink shops around. The staff were so helpful and polite and guided us towards making a perfect selection of chocolate for our needs. It's a great option for vegans and they don't charge extra for milk alternatives unlike chain stores! The hot chocolate my partner had was the most chocolatey drink we have ever tasted. We have discovered there is also a store in York much closer to home so we will definitely be visiting again and trying alternative drinks like the milkshake

Great selection of hot chocolates. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Got a couple to try and could tell the difference in flavours even though they were both milk chocolate varieties. Perfect after a nice walk to sent you up.

My boys have multiple allergies (dairy / egg / nut / sesame) & this afternoon Cocoa Joe’s have been amazing!!! They treated their allergies very seriously which was great. At the same time we were made to feel so welcome & we all had the best hot chocolate we have ever had!!! I would highly recommend! We will be back!

Fantastic place. Knowledgeable staff guided me through the options for my drink and the drink was gorgeous. So good went 4 days in a row for a different flavour each days. Different staff on each day, but always the same polite happy service. Highly recommended not only for the drinks but for such a welcoming atmosphere.

I came over to visit the area on a residential with a few of our pupils and came across this absolute gem of a place. Joe was a very nice, knowledgeable person and quite down to earth. Myself along with my pupils enjoyed the different chocolates from all other the world as well as a story attached to them, giving a quite personal feel. A rariety in places nowadays. Thank you so much good sir.

A fantastic indie chocolate drink shop that seems to be going from strength to strength in recent weeks. Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff that are more than happy to let you try before you buy. All run on green energy too! Definitely coming back. Gorgeous hot chocolate emporium with lovely informative staff. Everyone had a different type of chocolate in their drinks and my latte (with chocolate sprinkles!) was delicious. Highly recommend
