We just had an order delivered (deliveroo) the garlic bread was not great but the chips, burger and pizza were all outstanding!! Best pizza I've had in years! The chips were crispy and soft. The burger was fabulous very good value for money. These were all delivered hot and tasty. Thank you

Did takeaway yesterday instead of delivery. First visit. Very impressed. Wide variations in the menu. Excellent freshly prepared food. Friendly and helpful hosts. Ample parking, free to customers. Well stocked carvery reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, nice and clean and the service was great. The wait time for food was very short even though it was quite busy in the the evening. Food was nice although I felt the crust on the Calzone could have been a little less burnt, but it tasted nice all the same. All in all a nice place to eat with ample onsight parking. I would recommend for anyone that is on a budget

Any time you come here there's always someone to welcome you whether it's from bar or front of house staff. The menu is nice and simple, a little of everything for the fussiest of eaters. Additionally you have your breakfast and lunchtime staples of full English or roast lunch/dinners. Wide selection of drinks and plenty of space for people to move about getting to and from the bar. The place is always clean, reasonably priced and pleasant staff.

My grandparents come every week and the food and service is always outstanding. They always come on a Monday and Eileen is so helpful and attentive. Then on a Friday Liz served them and she too is extremely helpful and friendly.

We paid a family visit today and were served by Eileen. What a lovely lady! Even though there were only 2 members of staff serving and it was obviously very busy, she was extremely patient, efficient and very friendly. The whole service came with a smile 😃. This lady is an asset to your team. Thank you Eileen for an extremely pleasant experience.

I regularly meet my Daughter and her partner take their severely disable children, that they PA for. The staff are truly amazing, very kind, understanding, and helpful. The disabled access and parking are fantastic, the loos are always clean and tidy and the food is affordable, great variety and choice. I know I've already mentioned the staff but the staff make our outing, they are so lovely, they make our day a touch less stressful for the kids, and make us feel so welcome!

This was a great end to a long walk. Get a ticket, go up and get your roast carvery and the drinks are there ready at the table for when you get back. Decent prices, great location and friendly staff. I recommend.

Lovely full English breakfast,all you can eat and a coffee on tap. Very friendly atmosphere :-) nice,clean pub. Great value for money

The service was really good, the waitress explained how I should get my choice of carvery and my host had fish and chips, so we ate at same time. The meat was good, tasty and tender, but the vegetables were soggy mess. Easy parking.

The food is sooooo good and my drink are amzinf also my foood came in a really good time even though itd quite busy and staff really nice and amazing view.

Eileen was our waitress and she was amazing, I just want to say that off the bat, she couldn’t have been more friendly or attentive if she had tried and that was what was so nice, she was genuinely friendly and hospitable. If my review was solely about her I would be giving 5 stars. The beer selection was ok, we managed to find a really nice pale ale called 61 Deep which was perfect for our evening, but all other ales were off the menu. We got an incredible deal on the burgers as well, it was 2 for 1 night on burgers and pizzas, which is such a great deal, the entire night came to £39 for 4 beers each and food, which is great. We left a nice tip as well as Eileen was like I said exemplary. The only other thing that let it down a little and this is me just being critical is that the burger patty’s were a little… cheap. That sounds so snobby I know, but it was a little let down, had they been more home made, pressed from mince and rather than 3 patty’s just one decent juicy patty it would have made it a 5 star review. I can only give me honest opinion and this would be the difference between 4 and 5 stars. I would definitely go here again and enjoyed every other part.

Have a great carvery! The staff especially Eileen was very friendly (as always!) very polite and always has the time to talk to our grandchildren! Apologised because they were very busy and things took a little longer!!! Good experience and good value for money!

Really nice meal at a great price. Had half a buttermilk chicken burger and half a beef burger. Chicken melted In my mouth, one of the best I tasted and the burger was thick and moist. Can't fault it. If your passing give it a try. Great honest food. Staff are lovely too.

The staff here are lovely and very helpful, the food was fabulous even though they seemed a bit short staffed in the kitchen! I had the beef and a little of all the veg and it was brilliant! My husband had the large meal and it nearly beat him! Great value for money, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a decent roast for lunch, but I would say don't eat breakfast that day! You will need space!!!!!

Me and my boyfriend visit here often... perhaps too often sometimes haha. Staff are great friendly people, seating is decent with plenty of light and windows although I wouldn't visit for a view of anything. Parking is easy. Atmosphere can vary depending on how busy it is but in general it's pretty relaxed you won't feel rushed to leave. The place has only improved more now that it's got more choice, nice colour and a great makeover since becoming a stonehouse combo carvery. It's almost perfect... now you just gotta add the Chinese buffet option and there will be no need to go anywhere else! ;) Heheh It's not as cheap as it was before, the price has increased a bit but gotta pay for that makeover somehow and it's still totally worth it (you can also have a salad, which is basically a mini version of the harvester salad) and better than other carverys *cough* Toby carvery *cough* (although Toby is nice as well :P) I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt with my two small complaints one being the service of pizza can be slow, especially when it's busy but it does make way for time to eat starters if you have them so just to be aware of that, I blame it on the newness of the product though. :P my other small complaint is even smaller really, change my cranberry sauce back to the old one! I miss it. :'( This particular stonehouse carvery is my favourite! And each is slightly different some in good ways others not. The carvery food itself is always awesome, I've not had a problem with dryness of the meat in a long time and if you come in at a time where the meat is as fresh as possible you will not be disappointed. My personal favourite is the gammon drowned in cranberry sauce. Go in for the carvery, come again for the calzone! (Or The sweet chilli pizza!)

The mighty meat feast calzone is a mountain of a pizza. One of the best I’ve had in ages. Eileen needs a raise, she really does work her socks off and is incredibly attentive. Please pass on our thanks and gratitude.

Ignorant staff apart from 1 member of staff which was a barmaid! I think her name was Suzy! Dirty tables and cutlery and the pizza was awful!!! Bone dry and tasteless! Staff more interested in gossiping about other staff by the salad area (from what I gathered on my trip to a disgusting toilet). Overpriced for what you get! I will definitely not be returning. It's a shame as I was recommended by a very good friend of mine so I expected a lot better! Maybe if staff are trained on customer relations properly and how to clean this could be a nice place.

I would highly recommend using Stonehosue in Peacehaven for birthdays, Anniversaries or any other type of celebration. The staff are friendly and are well organised at arranging events to people's specific needs, whatever the celebration. I would personally like to thank Clive at Stonehouse in Peacehaven for helping my parents to arrange to be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary today and for the gift that was given to my parents. That was very thoughtful, thank you.

Decor is lovely and staff were friendly. But the food was not so good. Pizza was made with cheddar cheese not mozzarella and undercooked. Was told by one of the staff that they'd run out of mozzarella. Buttermilk chicken burger was all coating and very little actual chicken. Ordered Eton Mess which came out as clotted cream and strawberry sauce, no meringue. Pointed this out to staff and they came back with a plate of smashed meringue and strawberries. Seems like they're trying to do too much on the menu at once.

The staff were friendly and helpful, however I had to wait some minutes for more chip to be cooked whilst my pizza was going cold the crust was so hard I could not cut it

My partner and I went for a Sunday roast at the carvery yesterday and enjoyed our meal very much . I am disabled and have breathing problems so my paretner Steve has to go up and get my dinner at the carvery for me , our waitress picked up on this and waited for him to get to the counter , then rushed over to help him dish mine up too !... such a lovely lady ,I only wish I knew her name so that her boss realises what an amazing waitress she is and what a difference it made to us that she cared enough to go out of her way to make out experience a lot easier ! ...thank you

Well you asked me to review storehouse Pizza &carvry and to pu it bluntly I was not impressed sorry I did go in late mind you but will give it a miss in future also had a pint of Harvey bitter which looked like a pint of sludge pipes needed cleaning big time tried smiths bitter after which was better on the plus side it was quite busy(fri 13):

Not impressed at all booked a table for a group booking , received confirmation of booking only to be told when we got there that there was no booking made even though I had the email and showed it to them so after about half an hour we managed to sit down then our burgers and pizza took 40 minutes to come out so half the party ate there food before others even got there starters , one poor girl serving at the bar at a busy time just isn't right , more staff needed

Pizza was like a BBQ flavoured popadom - extremely thin, extremely dry and burnt underneath and around the edges - won't be getting pizza there again
