Really nice meal at a great price. Had half a buttermilk chicken burger and half a beef burger.
Chicken melted In my mouth, one of the best I tasted and the burger was thick and moist.
Can't fault it. If your passing give it a try.
Great honest food.

Me and my boyfriend visit here often... perhaps too often sometimes haha.
Staff are great friendly people, seating is decent with plenty of light and windows although I wouldn't visit for a view of anything.
Parking is easy.
Atmosphere can vary depending on how busy it is but in general it's pretty relaxed you won't feel rushed to leave.
The place has only improved more now that it's got more choice, nice colour and a great makeover since becoming a stonehouse combo carvery. It's almost perfect... now you just gotta add the Chinese buffet option and there will be no need to go anywhere else! ;) Heheh
It's not as cheap as it was before, the price has increased a bit but gotta pay for that makeover somehow and it's still totally worth it (you can also have a salad, which is basically a mini version of the harvester salad) and better than other carverys *cough* Toby carvery *cough* (although Toby is nice as well :P)
I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt with my two small complaints one being the service of pizza can be slow, especially when it's busy but it does make way for time to eat starters if you have them so just to be aware of that, I blame it on the newness of the product though. :P my other small complaint is even smaller really, change my cranberry sauce back to the old one! I miss it. :'(
This particular stonehouse carvery is my favourite! And each is slightly different some in good ways others not.
The carvery food itself is always awesome, I've not had a problem with dryness of the meat in a long time and if you come in at a time where the meat is as fresh as possible you will not be disappointed. My personal favourite is the gammon drowned in cranberry sauce.
Go in for the carvery, come again for the calzone! (Or The sweet chilli pizza!)

We just had an order delivered (deliveroo) the garlic bread was not great but the chips, burger and pizza were all outstanding!! Best pizza I've had in years! The chips were crispy and soft. The burger was fabulous very good value for money. These were all delivered hot and tasty. Thank you
Did takeaway yesterday instead of delivery. First visit. Very impressed. Wide variations in the menu. Excellent freshly prepared food. Friendly and helpful hosts. Ample parking, free to customers. Well stocked carvery reasonably priced. Highly recommended
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, nice and clean and the service was great. The wait time for food was very short even though it was quite busy in the the evening. Food was nice although I felt the crust on the Calzone could have been a little less burnt, but it tasted nice all the same. All in all a nice place to eat with ample onsight parking. I would recommend for anyone that is on a budget
Any time you come here there's always someone to welcome you whether it's from bar or front of house staff. The menu is nice and simple, a little of everything for the fussiest of eaters. Additionally you have your breakfast and lunchtime staples of full English or roast lunch/dinners.
Wide selection of drinks and plenty of space for people to move about getting to and from the bar.
The place is always clean, reasonably priced and pleasant staff.
My grandparents come every week and the food and service is always outstanding. They always come on a Monday and Eileen is so helpful and attentive. Then on a Friday Liz served them and she too is extremely helpful and friendly.
We paid a family visit today and were served by Eileen. What a lovely lady! Even though there were only 2 members of staff serving and it was obviously very busy, she was extremely patient, efficient and very friendly. The whole service came with a smile 😃. This lady is an asset to your team. Thank you Eileen for an extremely pleasant experience.
I regularly meet my Daughter and her partner take their severely disable children, that they PA for. The staff are truly amazing, very kind, understanding, and helpful. The disabled access and parking are fantastic, the loos are always clean and tidy and the food is affordable, great variety and choice. I know I've already mentioned the staff but the staff make our outing, they are so lovely, they make our day a touch less stressful for the kids, and make us feel so welcome!
This was a great end to a long walk. Get a ticket, go up and get your roast carvery and the drinks are there ready at the table for when you get back. Decent prices, great location and friendly staff. I recommend.
Lovely full English breakfast,all you can eat and a coffee on tap. Very friendly atmosphere :-) nice,clean pub. Great value for money
