We stayed here for our 8 year anniversary. Lovely location and cosy pub. Food was spot on for both nights and breakfast was also excellent.
The room was small but it was perfect for what we needed it for. Only down side was the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly so any slight but if wind and it would open, so you lost a bit of dignity whilst doing your business.
Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay again.
Great place to eat. Food excellent and great value for money. Staff very welcoming and friendly.
I only popped in for a quick snack. The grilled haddock starter with sun dried tomatoes, red onion salad & pesto was exquisite and excellent coffee too. The service was also fast and friendly.
The Robin Hood Inn is a favourite of mine. The service is excellent, friendly and professional, the food is of a high standard. I love their fish and chips and my wife has eaten their pies and burger and is never disappointed. They do a great lunch deal on week days between 12 and 3 o'clock: two meals for twenty pounds and the smaller portions are still big enough. The place is clean, recently done up, it's pleasant to be there. They have a lovely outside garden where you can sit and have your dinner. I gave only four points for location, because it is a bit tricky to find when you drive up from Hebden Bridge.
The menu caters to a diverse range of tastes which is always a good sign. Both the starters and main courses come in satisfying portions, promising a fulfilling dining experience. The presence of many local customers is a positive indicator of its quality. We will be back!
I really enjoyed our first visit here. It was a lovely sunny Saturday lunchtime so we sat and ate outside.
Great views of Heptonstall and Stoodley Pike.
Inside is a traditional Yorkshire country Inn, very well maintained.
Staff are friendly and efficient. It’s dog friendly inside and out.
Food is a cut above your average pub food and portions are large.
I had a steak, cheese, mushroom & red onion baguette which was very good but let down by the fries which were very greasy and a bit undercooked for my taste. I don’t think they’d had the oil hot enough.
Other than that, I’d recommend this and will come back.
A good choice of beers which are kept well.
I’ve been told the Sunday roasts are excellent.
First visit for lunch. Good menu. Great food and friendly staff. Would suggest you book a table
So I have visited The Robin Inn two days in a row for some lunch, and both days were exceptional.
First day I ordered a small portion of fish and chips and it was delicious. Wait time felt next to nothing, and I saw by the window which harbours a lovely view of the country side.
Next day I ordered Mozarella Sticks for a starter, and then I had the Shepherds pie. Again, absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the place itself just possesses a very warm, cozy atmosphere. It is absolutely a good way to spend an hour on a nice sunny afternoon.
Thoroughly reccomend. Thank you staff and kitchen for some lovely meals!
the service is good and the food is fresh and excellent and the place and quality is good I would definitely go there I went once cane back 2 days later. Review by my 9 Yr old grandson. I also think it's great.
