So this review is for the Costa at Peebles. I like Costa because of the consistency of their offer. You know what to expect. Their coffee is probably the best of the chain coffee shops. Peebles was just as I expected - it was open, great coffee and a nice cake. No complaints!

This is just a commercialised coffee place that you cannot complain nice coffee and okay cake.

Love the coffee. The staff were very pleasant & helpful. Corona restrictions were in place but there wasn't a stressful atmosphere. I had a lovely relaxing coffee break.

The staff are friendly, service is quick, & they serve something I've never found before - the coffee cortado, a delicious type of miniature flat white with lots of milk. Delicious.
The atmosphere here feels cozy and friendly - perhaps also because this is a Borders town - with sofas to sit on at the far end of the shop. The fact that Costa opens early and closes later than other coffee shops is definitely a plus as well.
