A unique environment and experience. Really enjoyed two family meals over the last few weeks. Great atmosphere, service and food, smashing staff. Very very x100 disappointed that it's closing and moving to a different type of food restaurant.

We went there today and was with a party of 30, on our table there was 8 of us 6 had beef 1 had chicken and 1 had lamb, the problem was they brought the beef out first then after a while they brought the chicken out and it seemed like ages before they brought the lamb dinner out in fact most of us had nearly finished by that time, we were trying to eat really slow so the last 2 were not eating alone but then our food was nearly cold. It was a shame because it is nice there but they need to organise it better as we all pre ordered our food. We have eaten in the Spinney loads of time and always enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely go back but not with a big party

What a find, looking for somewhere just a little different, overlooking sully island eating a beautiful T-bone steak. A great selection for my wife for gluten free. All round a fantastic experience. A classy place to take anyone.

Recently had Sunday lunch after a recommendation.. it was a sunny day and we were seated overlooking the sea ( fab). The lunch was great... Everyone was more than happy with their food ( 3 courses). The cocktails were gorgeous too! Dog friendly.

Had a lovely lunch at On the Rocks ‘Pink Floyd Bar’ today. The location was lovely, wonderful views of the sea and Sully Island. The waiting staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. I had the soup of the day - leek and potato and creamy pasta with mushrooms rather than chicken. Both were excellent. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Excellent location and views, enjoyed the food and atmosphere, staff were friendly and did apologise that as they were so busy food service was taking a little longer than normal. There was a good selection on the menu and will be returning to try again

3rd time visiting On The Rocks, was not disappointed. The standard of food was lovely. Four of us went and we each had starters and mains, no desserts and a few drinks. The total bill was £210, roughly £57 each including tip. We booked a table for 19:00 it was fairly busy and by 20:30 was full, but we were still waited on with efficiency, well done the staff. Would recommend and would return.

I have just had THE BEST FISH & CHIPS in the UK 🇬🇧. I live local 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and have travelled extensively in the UK from some fancy places in London, Land's End Cornwall to the Outer Hebrides in Scotland and Northern Ireland... so believe when I say this is the best I've had! We also tried their special of the day which was delicious 😋
