The prawn and shimp cocktail was delicious. The roast beef was lovely, lots of it really tender and thick and melting. The chocolate torte was the best.

Our Signature steaks were cooked perfectly! Myself and my other half shared onion rings and mac and cheese which were spot on. Certainly gives Miller & Carter and Gaucho a run for their money! Would recommend to anyone staying over or passing by.

After a long day of travelling, I arrived at the restaurant later in the evening as the kitchen was close to shutting down. Kat, my waitress, was very welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. Highly recommended.

So accommodating. The food was fab and we had a special place so we could bring the dog along. The staff remembered us by name and gave us the same place for breakfast. Our toddler had his dinner served in double quick time and there was a dog bed and water bowl for the pooch. Lots of extra nice touches that made us feel special 🥰

Always good we've been visiting for over 15 years now , staff lovely steaks cooked on the open wood fired grill are to die for, chicken kebabs are nearly as good.
Not the cheapest, but atmosphere is lovely , not at all stuffy like some hotels, restaurant staff are relaxed but very efficient and always take time to chat.
We found the breakfast service just as good, if you like a herty cooked breakfast you'll not leave hungry or disappointed.

Absolutely gorgeous food at FYR restaurant! The pesto gnocchi is to die for and the cocktails from the bar are lovely too. The interior is beautifully decorated with ambient music setting a really relaxing mood. The staff are fabulous, Paweł amongst them, super professional, very friendly and nice to chat with. Made dining solo a pleasure, will definitely visit again. Thank you!

Cannot fault staff, restaurant or food in any way. Food is impeccable, special requests are catered for wherever possible, staff are quick and attentive, we’ve been two nights in a row while staying here and thought last night was amazing (chicken from grill and fish & chips) but tonight’s blew it out the water. Highly recommend the steak from the grill and IF you’ve got room, the sticky toffee pudding is to die for, or kill for!

The sound of pigs being euthanized in the background made me very relaxed the service was outstanding watching the chef go above and beyond to shut the stinking vegans up was a personal highlight great meat options with no grass or twigs for the vegans which was very refreshing! Don't let the vegans with blue hair screaming put you off! Outstanding would give it 10 stars if I could
