My wife has worked in professional kitchens her whole life and she says that the roasted vegetables that we were served today were the best that she’s ever tasted. The food we bought was inexpensive - possibly about 30-40% less than what we’ve paid for similar food in Sydney pubs. This pub is conveniently located near Penrith’s CBD. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Our table wasn’t cleaned when we arrived. Parking located next door. Bus stop is located just outside the hotel.

Bouncer wouldn't let us in at 8pm! 2 married couples, wanting to watch the NRL somewhere and he took it upon himself to be a bully and refuse entry, yet later in the night we see him allowing intoxicated people in? Pretty appalling customer service, this particular bouncer needs some more training on how to be a respectful person and not discriminate.

enjoy a good feed from the bistro, the girl who served us remembered exactly who ordered what and was no confusion when our meals were brought out. A few craft beers on tap was pleasing to see but would like to see a few more varieties on tap or in the fridge.
Its been a while since I've been here, hope the live music scene is still strong here.

Food here is great. Atmosphere desperately needs an update, the pokies area is smokers only. There's a great karaoke show on Friday nights.

Great venue for live music in Penrith. Had for bands on that were all great. Not a huge place but that just means you're close to the band and can interact with them and enjoy their music.
