Stumbled upon this place, very lucky to do so, very friendly owners & clientele. The breakfast was as good as we have had, every item you would expect, cooked perfection no sign of oil or grease.

Popped in this afternoon whilst visiting Penrith, myself husband and Ginny the dog. What a lovely couple with the friendliest welcome. Great service, chat and very clean. The full English breakfast large and small was delicious very tasty without the grease (airfryer) we were informed. Would highly recommend and would certainly go back. Thank you x

A cyclists haven especially when we discovered this cafe on our c2c trip. Fantastic food, lovely staff, there is an art gallery in this beautiful old building. If you are on a bike they have secure parking. Just ask on arrival.

This is wonderful little café in Penrith, located in the ground floor of a building built in the 1600s, with exposed beams and a very cozy feel. They serve great breakfasts and lunches and the prices are a very good value. They also have a good wifi connection and have framed local art and souvenirs for sale, so good for people traveling through the area on holiday. The cafe is dog-friendly and has steps-free access.

What a lovely quirky cafe, clean and tidy. Came across this as I googled a cafe near me 4.9/5 on the ratings which instantly led me here (definitely a 5/5 from me). Friendly couple who were inviting and polite. One of the best breakfast ive ever had, it was tasty and freshly cooked and one of the best sausage iv had (only thing i could fault is the brown sauce wasnt hp). Just what I needed after a long travel from manchester, if I'm ever dropping kitchens off again I will surly revisit. Thanks

One of the friendliest place I have been to recently. The food was great. The only issue was that I nearly knocked myself out on the way up the stairs with the low ceiling. My fault though. We even got ideas for places to visit. Thanks guys. We went to lowther castle as you suggested. Oh and it's dog friendly.

We had a very enjoyable light lunch in this fascinating cafe . The food was excellent and beautifully served, just what we needed.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the arts exhibition and sale were with the visit alone. Not to be missed.
