Heaven on Earth for a beer fan! Very spacious place with a big screen (showing rugby matches at the time of visit). A big selection of beers (cask, draft, bottles and cans), very good pizzas, an arcade console and great atmosphere. A must visit if in the area!
Whilst on holiday it would have been madness to not find time to visit this amazing independent Brewery and it didn’t disappoint.
Verdant have built up the reputation of a quality independent brewery and to come and soak up the atmosphere in person and sample some of the latest drops was a great way to end my time in Cornwall.
Great venue to sit and enjoy the hazy ale with sight of the brewery through the glass panelled walls and Friday night meant there was a DJ playing.
As well as enjoying the current menu on site they also offer canned take outs. A selection of course made their way back home with me to enjoy In my garden after a long days work !
Staff were friendly and very helpful when talking about the juicy hoppy deliciousness on offer to help make up one’s mind !
All in all a very happy customer and supporter of this fine independent brewery.
In 2016 I found this brewery on untappd whilst on holiday in Cornwall. We drove to Falmouth specifically to find their beer but couldn't find it in town so drove up to a tiny brewery. We brought everything they had & were given an unlabelled can of Light Bulb. Amazing to see the new tap room space and the brewery. It's changed a lot!!!
One of the best brewery taprooms I have ever visited! Not only is the beer brilliant but the taproom itself is a fantastic venue and the staff are incredibly knowledgable and helpful. I will definitely be back when I’m next on holiday in Cornwall, until then I left with some beers to enjoy at home!
Fantastic venue and layout to watch the brewery in action, tap staff were all really friendly and helpful, goes without saying the food (carni pizza) and beer (various) were superb. Planning a revisit already.
In my opinion some of the best IPA’s in the UK. Taproom didn’t disappoint. Staff helpful, pizzas superb. Just wish it wasn’t an 7 hour drive away!!

Class beers, great place to visit. One of the best brewery's in the UK. Pizzas, music and amazing pints. Its on an industrial estate so bear in mind when travelling to and from.
The Verdant Tap Room is so good. I've been to quite a few at different breweries, but this one outshines them all. The beer is just about the best you'll find, not only in Cornwall, but probably the UK. The tap room itself has been fitted out beautifully and the menu is excellent. Good music is always on and keep a look out for different events that come along. Don't miss out, it's a great place.
This was our first time visiting Verdant Taproom in Penryn and truly it exceeded our expectations! We loved the set up and how you could see the brewing room from where we were sat, we love that there are so many events and gigs going on there and although we didn’t get to try the pizza this time this is something we will definitely be trying next time! What a great space and as always great beer :)
