Don’t let the outside fool you. Inside is modern and very beautifully decorated. We found this restaurant via Google Maps as we struggled to find nice restaurants in Penzance that day.
Service is good as members of staff were friendly and they always checked in on us.
Only downfall is that we felt the mussels were a bit over cooked so it wasn’t that nice but the flavour was good. There also wasn’t anyone at reception to greet us, and it got a bit awkward when we said we were here as we had a dinner reservation and I had to say, can we go to the restaurant, and is the restaurant that way? It would’ve been nice if she lead us the way first.
Salad is very nice, I would come here again for the salad and ambience.
Fast and friendly service from the wait staff. We ordered the 2 course fixed price meal of pork shank with a side of vegetables and fries. The veggies comprised of peppers with zucchinis. The pork was a bit tough but slathered in gravy. The Onion soup was very good with the right amount of sweetness. Fries were over cooked, notice the burned bits in the image. Meal for two with no desert or alcohol 55 pounds. A 10% service charge was applied to the bill automatically. In conclusion, it was a good meal and well presented.
We absolutely loved it on a quiet Wednesday in July. The room is beautiful and it's all very comfortable. There are great views. We had fantastically friendly service. And, most importantly, the food was lovely. Strongly recommend the seafood platter. The sizzling brownie and tres leches cake were both fantastic. Drinks perhaps a bit expensive but overall we paid £60ish for two people (mains and desserts), which was well worthwhile for a lovely evening out.

Went here for breakfast and was not disappointed.. truly delicious and a beautiful view. Definitely a must for visitors and locals alike.
I cannot recommend this place enough. They view is amazing both inside and oustide the restaurant especially if you take a sit nexx to a window or in the balcony which faces the swimming pool for the hotel and the harbour. The three girls who work there were super welcoming and helpful, cannot thank them enough for making our birthday dinner and surprise remarkable. Besides, if you want a place that is not too busy and enjoy the chat with your family, this is definitely the best choice. Is also romantic ❤️☺️.
Really nice restaurant on top of a hill with a lovely view of Penzance out of the window. Really nicely decorated and very friendly staff. Food was excellent Really great quality. Overall a very nice evening here highly recommended.
The best meal I had in Penzance!!! They offered me a complimentary starter: deep fried shrimp with their special sauce. I ordered shallops and lamb cutlets. All the food tasted fresh and great!!!
We visited here in a rainy evening. Make sure bring your umbrella as there is about 10mins walk from the train station.
There is a nice view to the harbour and the coast (not much for us as it rained quite heavily).
Dinner come as 2,3,4 course meal. Mains and the desserts are nice.
The food was sublime. My duck was the best duck ive ever had. Excellent value considering how good it was. Roger the sous chef and assistant Dan were the chefs that night, as the head chef had a night off. Kids catered for too. Manages to balance being a classy restaurant without being overly formal. Great views over the bay and attached to a lovely hotel. The waiting staff, though friendly, seemed to lack experience/skills. I say this as constructive feedback for the management: (eg. No knowledge about the meals/ingredients, not keeping aware of people running out if drinks, incorrect billing, and other minor things more experienced staff would do naturally). To any prospective punters reading this, dont let those comments put you off. Overall we loved it, we look forward to returning, and would simply like to see the service standard match the high food standard, and ultimately the restaurant be really successful.
A really worth while visit. Great view, very good value for food, such lovely staff. Hopefully the kitchen staff will also see this, amazinggg food! Really appreciated the effort with my dietary request
