Seaview

Passed by this fish and chip shop and decided that was for dinner - aren't we glad!! The cod was beautiful, so much fish beautifully cooked! The curry sauce 5* - curry sauce varies sso much, but this one, top draw, best I've had in a long time. The mushy peas also great and the chips were good. My partner had a double cheese burger, which was a little overcooked, but tasty. Reasonable pricing! We would definitely return, if we return that way and fancy chips! FLAVOUR. Wow such a great taste of the batter and the only Fish I've found in Cornwall that remove the black skin so I was immediately impressed..I had a Large Cod Large Chips and the price was a lot better than others the size was big and perfect white fish was top quality and not likely fresh it's still got so much flavour the batter was amazing and lots of little bits of batter in with the chips and they do slush puppies. The staff/owners all very happy positive and welcoming very quick service very happy overall. My only gripe is the chips were super greasy I don't even want to make a negative remark as it's so tasty but the oil needs changing as some chips were nuked. But still they almost all got eaten just needs that one thing sorted and it's flawless. Will definitely be returning. 10/10 Definitely recommend you try these before anyone else.

Great fish and chips its the other side of town but worth it as the fish and chips are very good and it's prices are very reasonable. . My favourite and must have item is the fish cakes they make themselves .. lots of herbs fish and a good bit of pepper they are very unique and a must to try. Last time I went I noticed they had updated the decoration outside and had new lighting in the shop... looks good

Lovely food and quick service. Chatty guy serving, nice and friendly. Very small shop and served through a large hatch, not a problem as no queue when I went and not raining 🙂 There's no parking I could see, one person parked up on the pavement and we had to chance it 9n double yellows round the corner. Maybe if we were local we would know somewhere better to park, but as on holiday and dark at the time we just winged it. Definitely worth a visit if you're hungry, food is highly recommended.

We fancied fish & chips and searched in Google to find one. Excellent service & Friendly Staff. Fish & chips were delicious, proper chip shop chips too 😋 We had Fish & Chips in St Ives a few days ago and I found the Seaview Fish & Chip Shop better. Reasonable prices too. Would recommend to family & friends when they come to Penzance.
