The female owner and staff are friendly, professional, accommodating and helpful. The food is exceptional (steak and seafood) their speciality and chocolate tart for pudding was amazing. There is also a nice selection of wines and spirits. The bar area is relaxed and quirky and with early booking you can sit on the veranda, which has prominent views over the square in Pershore. Perfect for me and my guy to chill on a Friday or Sat eve after a movie/show.
(UPDATE) we’ve heard from the owner that she will be closing and retiring this year which is so sad. We hope someone else might want to continue the great work of the previous owner.
One of our favourite restaurants in Pershore in the old hotel with a lovely Georgian balcony. Nice bar/lounge area, great selection of drinks (love the Sam Adams and Madeira), friendly and welcoming owner and staff, and a good menu and specials (chocolate orange brownie and cheese were very tasty...).
Saw a spot on the 1st floor outside balcony was free so nipped in for a glass of something cold and a nibble.
Very glad we did. Food and service were excellent.
We personally didn't think it was expensive with the food we had being good enough to justify the reasonable price.
