Happy Union Restaurant

My friends and I found that Happy Unions Chinese Restaurant is a great place. It is really very interesting to eat there. First of all, I like the favour of the dishes there. What is more, the restaurant offers their guests quite satisfying portions of food. Hey dude, this is what we like. I also like to see the service there. Anywhere folks, you are welcome to enjoy your dishes there.

Ordered takeaway at 7.20pm, went to collect at 8pm and was told they were busy so not ready. Wasn't ready until 8.50pm. Ridiculous. Food was mixed. Tofu veggies were great, fried rice fine, but the lemon chicken was very overcooked/burnt and nothing like what we were expecting. If you have to wait 90 minutes for food you better be better than anywhere else in Perth.

Had dinner here and service was a bit all over the place. We had curry fish head, Japanese sizzling tofu and Happy Union Golden pork. So in sequence my dining experience... After about 10 minutes Pork dish came out first...then nothing for about 10 mins. No rice yet... Then the fried fish head...but no curry... Another 5 mins sizzling Japanese tofu...no curry. Then the curry...5 minutes later...no rice still... Had to ask for rice again Rice was hard and dry... Pork dish is cold now... Dish rating... Pork was good, very good . Japanese sizzling tofu left was ok for my son, wife and I thought it was lacking. Oddly crunchy peas... Fish head curry was ok. Steep Credit card surcharge at 2%. Service was at least friendly. A bit of setup before customers sitting would save some issues regarding no napkins and having to ask for them. Overall below average performance for dinner after considering the cost, time and service.
