We had a very late breakfast on Sunday at the Tufted Duck. Delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, fat bits of black pudding and well cooked bacon, toast with the best coffee on the A90. A great place for breakfast esp in the cooler months. There is a big blazing fire and lots of tables for various size groups. Last Sunday, we didn't need to sit near the fire as the sun was streaming through the windows and it was lovely and hot. A great place to spend an hour or two on a sun or dreich Sunday morning.
We enjoyed another of your fabulous "All In " breakfasts today, lovely to see you and we'll be back again soon.
Second visit to this antique centre and cafe. Great chat with the guy runni g the cafe. Really nice man and great food and service. He was so keen to promote the centre as well. A great asset to the place!!!
This is just a small eatery in an antiques shop., The owner is the chef and there is a waitress, everyone is very friendly. The food is first class with high quality ingredients. The views are outstanding and the ambience is relaxed.
I used to work here myself, and Tim was a brilliant boss who treated us well. Great tips, free lunches and a lovely team. The food here is rustic, simple but so delicious :)
Was visiting the antiques shop so stopped in for a bite. Nice menu, plenty of choices. Poached eggs were spot on. Friends had soup (excellent) and cheese toastie (likewise). Staff very friendly. Perhaps a bit on the pricey side, hence 4*.
Fabulous poached egg on toast... eggs were very fresh.. beautiful seeded bread... lovely oat latte..
and fab friendly staff... Well worth a visit
Went here on a Sunday at noon, the cafe was open and we had a really excellent breakfast. Staff are very, very nice and the food was lovely and very reasonable.
Went for a browse round the antique shops. All in all a great place to spend some time in beautiful countryside.
Very friendly staff. Tea room with delicious food and an antique centre to boot. A really unexpected find in our journey north
Well worth a stop
I was prepared to be blown away, but didn't quite get there I'm afraid. Supermarket sliced bread with the soup was underwhelming. Okay, the soup itself was excellent, so 10 out of 10 for that, but if you charge high prices - and you do - raise your game a bit, please.
Lovely building nice food and very friendly service, the whole site is worth a visit for a casual and relaxed mosy around 👍🏻
We found this place off the beaten track and spent a couple of hours there browsing antiques. Better than a trip to the museum. Time for lunch and coffee to round off an exhausting morning! The eggs were freshly laid!
