Roma Ristorante

we came for tea last night. We were greeted on arrival and it was explained we probably would have a wait of drinks and ordering. Yes service was slow and no it didn't bother us in the slightest however the fact the only person was running everything out front meant he would soon struggle when things got busy. However everything else was positive, the food was excellent, the portions hot when served and plenty big enough for each person. very happy and would be happy to come back again

Roma Restaurant was lovely and quiet when we arrived. There is a feature wall/fountain and a huge fish tank behind the bar which kept the kids entertained. There was no children's menu as such, instead the kids picked from the main menu and were given a slightly smaller portion with lower price. The food was great and the kids pizzas arrived in the shape of a fish with an olive for an eye which went down a treat! There was also a churros style dessert made with deep fried pizza dough sticks and fudge/chocolate dipping sauces which was amazing! Definitely worth a visit.

The staff are the real stars here, very good to excellent. Was a hair on the the menu which was slightly discerning. The radiator next to the table had dust on it, but I'm not saying it's dirty just a bit more attention to detail required. I had mac n cheese, wasn't the best tbh, needed something stronger to make the cheese zing in it. My partner absolutely loved her meal, she was very very pleased. All in all a very pleasant experience, great staff, mac n cheese wouldn't be my next choice but I'd definitely go back. Give them a try, it's a lovely place with amazing staff
