Compass Cafe

I recently had some allergy tests done which left me feeling quite deflated, like I’d not be able to go out and eat again so that I wouldn’t trouble chefs or servers. However, we were travelling through Perth to a trail centre and needed some food on the way. We saw this place on the map and decided to give it a try, so that we could get some bits we needed from the outdoor shop beneath it. And I’m SO glad we did. The staff were absolutely amazing with me and my allergies and managed to make me a substantial meal that wouldn’t make me ill and didn’t make me feel like I wasn’t cared about. The presentation of the dish was lovely, as was the portion size and overall quality was 5 stars. We will definitely be returning if we are going through Perth again! ❤️

Lovely little cafe conveniently situated for those travelling past Perth on the A9. We love outdoor shops so it was a bonus that it was situated inside one! The service was excellent & friendly and the food good & generously portioned. The menu was simple yet varied, with the option to choose between a sandwich, wrap, potato, panini or salad with a good range of tasty & interesting fillings. We took away a couple of raspberry & white chocolate scones which made a lovely snack later that afternoon. Highly recommend!

We normally visit the cafe when travelling south from Inverness, then on return back north. We always find the food and coffee excellent, and the staff are always pleasant and very friendly. Always good seeing dogs with customers, it gives the place a warm friendly atmosphere, after all its an outdoor retail store. There has been a slight price increase, but that is due to the current economic crisis, all other cafe's/restaurants have done the same. Well worth a visit.
