Invited by my friend and a good catch up. Decorated to finer taste and was greeted warmly and professionally.
We ordered drinks with free tea water in lovely cold bottle
We had the early bird menu where there was a lovely selection to choose from.
We both had the duck terrine followed by steak and I had butternut risotto, cooked to perfection the risotto was delicious.
We were tempted to have a dessert of a small chocolate pot and ice cream.
Ambiance was perfect.
So of your catching up with a friend or on a date or celebrating a birthday I would highly recommend this place.
Clean and 5
The staff were attentive and the food was delicious! Our server overheard that was our anniversary so brought two complimentary drinks. Would definitely recommend!
Great visit to cote this week for a midweek dinner with a colleague. Have been to this chain before elsewhere and forgot how great it was.
Lovely food, lots of options based loosely around a French brasserie theme.
Nice surroundings and staff were great too.
Would definitely visit again.
Highly recommended.
We enjoyed our meal here. We had a set menu which was affordable considering the menu. The set menu is very well-curated! I liked everything that was included and I kind of struggled to pick which meal I wanted because everything looked good but settled on the mussels for starter and sea bass for the main course which were both delicious. Can’t wait to go back there again.
I'd definitely recommend Côte to anyone who has allergies - they were brilliant accomodating my nut allergy and made me feel comfortable by showing me a tablet with all the allergens on the menu. I felt at ease eating the food which was fantastic!
I've been twice to Côte, once last spring/ summer, and once in September for my birthday. Both experiences were amazing. The food is divine, the service is fantastic and it has easily become my favourite restaurant.
Don't expect to pay fast food prices here - the food is worth the extra cost though. For my birthday, the staff also added a surprise to my dessert, which was lovely. They wrote Happy Birthday on it, and it was just a gorgeous touch to a splendid meal out. I can't wait to come back again!
Excellent French restaurant on Church street in Peterborough City Centre. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful I recommend the french onion soup the beef bourguignon and the duck and the french beer was also great
A place worth visiting, fantastic food, nice service, friendly atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend it
It had been a few years since my last visit so I felt it was time to update my review. I visited recently (May 2023) and had the most delicious three course meal with a white wine spritz on the side for approximately £38 - which for the quality I personally did not think was bad at all. I had the calamari starter which was a generous portion with a delicious rich creamy sauce for dipping. I then had the pork on Savoy cabbage with dauphinois potato- this was beautifully presented, full of flavour and the pork was succulent. Finally for dessert the waitress recommended the strawberry and elderflower crème brûlée. The brûlée had a lovely crispy sugar coating with a velvety as well as creamy inside with a gentle vanilla flavour. This accompanied by the fresh strawberries and the sauce used made for a dessert which was not overly rich after the meal. The restaurant in general had a lovely atmosphere with excellent service from the staff. I had a fabulous evening and look forward to visiting again.
Excellent food, staff and service. 1st class 👍
The environment and decor was very pleasant and most importantly the food was of a good quality. The poached eggs were overcooked is the only complaint. The service was good and I can't fault the attentiveness. The missing item from my breakfast wast promptly produced with apologies.
A very interesting menu in a delightful restaurant. Am tempted to revisit to try further dishes. 😎💙🌹🇬🇧👍
