An excellent place to visit. It has all you want for a visiting football fan - Pizzas and other food offerings, numerous bars and plenty of outside seating. Plus you get the novelty of going on to a barge to get drinks in the main bar. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a enjoyable time here....Sat outside so didn't eat here apart from a paninini from the bar area,was ok,a little bland....no wine bottles available just by the glass so worked out more expensive...music was very loud too...plenty of staff serving though .

Stylish Oakham pub on a boat. The "East" restaurant (very moderately priced Asian food) can be found on the upper level of this boat, while the pub is to be found in the body of the ship on the lower level. Plenty of cask options available, mostly by Oakham brewery (which shouldn't come as a surprise considering the place is run by Oakham Ales). Light pub grub available, too. Frequent music events, good crowd, good service.

Fabulous establishment set on an old barge on the River....serving a great selection of real ales together with a good selection of other alcoholic & non alcoholic drinks...the food looked good too but we didn't eat....Good value for money especially considering the location...a must visit when in Peterborough City Centre...

Love this place, it's come through Covid better than ever with the addition of "pop-up" containerised concert & bar/foods areas. Plus the barge continues to have an excellent choice of ales & other refreshments, along with the Taste of Asia restaurant atop.

Good experience with nice staff. It was a Saturday rainy day and the bar was very crowded and noisy. Recommend. A bar on a boat.

Absolutely fantastic bar. Great on the boat cracking atmosphere . Ale was off the charts amazing and the band playing was fantastic. Couldn't fault it. Tremendous experience

Fantastic pub with one of the best ranges of real ale in Peterborough.
Sister to the Brewery Tap in the town centre, Charters has a lovely outdoor area when the weather permits and is usually a popular choice after work or at the weekend.
Bar food has a Thai-theme, due to the upstairs Thai restaurant (East) and is very good.

Best pub in Peterborough!
This is a big old barge with a dingy bar downstairs, creaking wooden floors and a great range of beers. I love the cosy atmosphere and the slightly swaying sensation whether you've been drinking or not. They often have live music/comedy/poetry. Also when the stereo's on it is usually good music.
Upstairs is a nice Thai restaurant and outside is a really big beer garden next to the river (obviously), with some seats under a big gazebo and some outside in the sunshine. Perfect for beers on a summers day.
