We went on a very quiet evening, mid week for a birthday. Food was truly exceptional. Michelin quality. We come to visit this area now and again to see family and so always on the look out for new places to eat. The Chubby Castor will become our new favourite place for special occasions.

We mentioned our daughters B-day on the reservation and they had a table set up with a rose and a card when we arrived, and even gave an additional Happy Birthday desert at the end of the meal. The food was great, and the service was amazing. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate!!

Lovely place. We sat outside and had lunch with a friend. We had few small nibbles and food was delicious, full of flavour. There was quiet music playing and very nice atmosphere. The lady serving us was very nice and helpful. We will be back. Drinks were tasty and serve in a big glass. I would say it's almost 2 drinks in one.

Lovely place and amazing food and service! We just walked in after going skydiving in Peterborough not knowing it's fine dining place so we were dressed quite inappropriately for such a resaurant😅 The staff still treated us nicely and did not point that out like they would in some posh restaurants.

Me and my wife had an amazing dining experience for our anniversary, which exceeded our expectations. Smart and modern interior settings with a very calm and cosy atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and provided us with absolutely professional service, which made us feel special. The food presentations were spectacular, and regarding the taste, I don't have the words to explain how delicious everything was.
