Best fishcake and chips I've ever had. Helpful staff and a decent price too.

Great fish and chips. The fish was fresh, large flakey pieces and tasted good . Chips freshly cooked and done just right. Can't find a fault.

This is our chippy of choice in Peterborough.
Cooked fresh, scraps (aka batter bits) are available too. Truly delicious, the fish has always been cooked to perfection in our experience - batter is crispy but not dry. Chips are also cooked just right - with no horrible hard bits resulting from reheating.
We enjoy one of the meal deals - we get a cod & chips - which comes with a selection of sides. We recommended the curry sauce for the latter.
The portion size is just right. We always look forward to fish & chips from Fishtastc. Our food never feels full of 'stodge'.
In fact, the lack of grease is evidenced by the fact we can put the cardboard box it is served in, in the recycling bin.
The shop also boasts friendly staff, who greet you when you enter & who say please & thank you.
